Sounds a bit dreamy. I don't think many Republican States are about to impose any requirements to prove vax before attending events. That would be a stretch in states with slim Dem majority.

It's really hard to envision such draconian rules being imposed anywhere. I mean, we could hardly even get them to force distancing and proper mask usage on people under threat of legal repercussions. The most I recall happening is some businesses got slightly dinged for allowing crowds.

Nobody ever even went to jail for reckless behavior that could likely get others killed.

The government may be Forced into doing it, if we cannot get enough people vaccinated we will never get the Pandemic under control, sometimes the Parents have to make the children do something for the family's good.

I don't think the states will do it, I think the businesses will do it. No business wants a Covid outbreak because of some selfish people who refused to be vaccinated. Take Universal Studios as an example. Eventually, they are going to want to expand capacity and drop their mask mandate. Same with airlines. I really think they're going to do that only if they can be assured that their customers are vaccinated. I know not every business will follow that, but I'm guessing a lot of the big players will. I guess we'll have to see.

They do jeopardize the rest of us, in our quest for herd immunity?!!

Agreed. No one should be forced to undergo a medical procedure. OTOH, Trump, being a pedophiliac Buddy Fucker, was responsible for the vaccine's development and, as we all know, Trump can't be trusted.

Sorry, but I can't see how that is legal. Sure, businesses can say to employees "No vaccine, no recall until the pandemic is over", but how can a Federal or State government force a medical procedure on a citizen?

FWIW, I always get my vaccines, wear my seatbelt and carry the sixth chamber under the hammer empty. :)

Not forcing anyone to take the vaccine, but try flying on an airplane and you will prove it or drive your car to your destination. Want to get new car tags or title at the courthouse, not until you prove you are safe. Businesses can do what they wish but no one would be forced to take anything. Thing is all people have to do is take a little shot, grandma can take it so why not the tough militia type, should they hand out candy to get them to do the right thing?
