Do conservatives believe in anything?

Repubs give enormous tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations. Those taxes do not expire. They grudgingly give much smaller ones to the masses that expire. Trump also took a couple of important tax breaks from the average and poor. So their net was smaller. I hate discussing things with you bcause you are a fount of right wing ignorance. More fallacy fallacies from you.
Economic studies show that automatic stabilizers are better for an economy that relies on capitalism like ours. Equal protection of our own laws is in all of our own Constitutions. Why is it soo difficult for right-wingers to be more than hypocrites regarding being Legal to the Law?

It is hilarious how the right loves free speech until someone they disagree with uses it.

Relatively few Supreme Court decisions every session involve constitutional interpretation; so, the Supreme Court hears many cases unrelated to the meaning of the Constitution.

The constitution is (supposed to be, anyway) the basis of their decisions.

Historian's fallacy on your part. In the late 40's and into the 50's there were a number of Soviet spy rings broken up in the US. Their now known spying included giving the Soviet Union sufficient information to develop nuclear weapons about a decade early. A decade earlier, Communism and Socialism weren't seen as necessarily bad things, much as today. But as time passed it became clearer that they indeed were bad.

All that resulted in the US government making a concerted effort to end Soviet sympathetic groups and individuals in the US from having unlimited access to government and society. Right or wrong, that's how it was at the time.

As a side note, the US gave China the means to develop not just nuclear weapons but ballistic missiles by deporting mathematician Qian Xuesen (aka Hsue-Shen Tsien) who was at CalTech. He became the 'father' of the Chinese nuclear and ICBM programs recruiting other Chinese scientists and engineers from the US along with using his knowledge to advance those programs.

Bruce alias Caitlyn Jenner has a real functional vagina and lactating breasts? Damn, science marched this far into DNA reorder and no one told me! :whoa:

Many women have breasts that don't lactate. Jenner says he has sex, so I assume his vagina is "functional."

Only in controversies involving constitutional issues which is relatively few in number. Their cases are more likely to involve interpretations of federal statutes, really boring procedural issues, etc.

And WTF does that little screed have to do with the FACT that the HUAC COULD NOT prove or convict anyone in Hollywood of being an active communist spy? That was the FBI's job, and they sure as hell was NOT happy about the HUAC and Sen. McCarthy's bogus hearings and trials screwing up their investigations.

Let me explain: America does indeed have a legitimate and registered "communist party" that still exists in some form today

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Communist-Party-of-the-United-States-of-America

They sure as hell came under scrutiny during and post the Stalin years, but are currently considered non-threatening and a bit of a joke in some circles.

Nothing you posted disproves my links and post in any way, shape or form. Bringing back such dreck as the HUAC would suit the Orange Oaf, who considers anyone who can accurately criticize him as un-American. Not surprising.

Your assumption is incorrect. Toddle down to your local college or university (or high school, for that matter), and let the biology teacher show you the diagrams and explain what a "functioning" vagina in a women is, and how men just don't have that equipment. And please stop comparing a biological anomaly (or defect) to a cosmetic altercation. Elective cosmetic surgery and chemical altercation does not a woman make. That's just basic biology. Let me know when they can alter DNA to change a man into a woman with a functioning womb and vagina (likewise a woman into a man with a functioning penis and testicles). Carry on.

After the depressions caused by wealthy people, there were many Americans who thought that capitalism results in the wealthy v poor. and frequent regular crashes. Teddy Roosevelt repeatedly warned us about the secret powers the wealthy were grabbing and the wealth. America was hit by repeated depressions. Questioning the system that created the crashes was fair and logical.
It did not change. The wealthy are accumulating enormous wealth and power. They know there are no risks for them because we will support them and make them whole no matter what they do. That is what we did in 2008. The banking crash did not even cost bankers their jobs let alone face malfeasance or criminal charges.
Here are recessions. depressions and panics . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_recessions_in_the_United_States
There were people who decided capitalism as we do it is flawed. Communism looked like an alternative. It was believed the people would not suffer as badly as they have in the past.
Socialism is a far better alternative.

I was not "comparing" them but pointing out how the original distinction was overly simplistic because Jenner meets both of those requirements. Once you start including factors like DNA you are getting much closer. Determining whether a person meets all the requirements seems irrelevant until we start talking about athletic competition.

"Original distinction" IS BIOLOGY! FACTUAL BIOLOGY THAT CANNOT BE CHANGED THROUGH COSMETICS OR CHEMICAL INFUSION. DNA cannot be changed in such a fashion,. Jenner only meets an artificial criteria created to appease a segment of the population, nothing more.

You can paint yourself yellow, call yourself a cab and carry people on your back to their destinations for a fee. You may meet some off definition of what a cab is, but you won't really be one.

As for athletics, it would seem that "blood doping", which is chemically inducing a higher oxygenation rate via artificially adding more blood in your system than normally needed, is illegal in athletics. Yet cosmetically and physically altering yourself to compete in another gender's competition is legal? Doesn't make sense, but advocates will pretend it does.

Again, cosmetics and drugs do not a woman make. This means that if Bruce Jenner walks into a private enterprise looking for a job, the owner has to the right to say, "Dude, my female workers DO NOT want you in their bathrooms...and the guys are going to give you a hard time. I don't need that type of problems". Federal and state jobs are another matter, as by law discrimination on any level is forbidden. And as this is a new frontier in the discussion, you have the current legal controversy.

Trans people are not a race, not an ethnicity, not a creed. They are just an elaborate for of transvestism. A matter of biology, a matter of fact. I wouldn't deny them a job, but I won't say it's fair for them to compete in athletics, nor will I alter reality via labeling and identification.

Actually, one can think of it as another example of a MAGA minion being factually proven wrong and not having the maturity or cojones to admit such in an anonymous format. This is why your party has to cheat by voter suppression and gerrymandering to hold onto political power. But the country sees the slide to neo fascism that you (knowingly or unwittingly) endorse. The reckoning is coming. Thanks to Dump and Jan. 6th.

Voter suppression? How is it suppression if every voter is an AMERICAN citizen, is registered and counted once? We have the technology to make that happen. Then nobody bitches.

Gerrymandering? Who's trying to change what's been mapped for years? Democrats, that's who. You cry cheat when nothing's been changed

Reckoning is coming? Just what is this reckoning? Firing squad? Internment camps? Slaves?

Yeah, I know. I'm on ignore. Oh well...
