Do JPP contributors split tickets?

I split my votes between Demmycrats and Republicans.......Demmycrats got 1964 through 1978, Republicans got 1980 through 2018........

I vote Democrat,but I did vote for Kasich as Governor.

Anyone who self-describes as center-left in the US would be regarded lunatic-right in the civilized world.

I've never been harmed by a communist, by the way. Nor have I ever met a Republican in the post Eisenhower era who didn't belong in federal prison.

What you support in the way of healthcare is socialism. To that I say if you want someone that doesn't have anything you think they should have because they can't afford it, reach into YOUR pocket and buy it for as many as your heart desires. Since I don't owe them anything nor have a responsibility to anyone other than those of my choosing, they aren't my concern. Since you seem to claim a concern for them, prove it by providing it to them yourself.
 
I guess you could say I've split my votes. I won't vote for a Democrat but that doesn't necessarily mean they've all been for Republicans. Many of the elections, especially those in off year for local positions, have been non-partisan.

Disagree. They are left of communists. At least the communists didn't tolerate crime as much. My wife grew up in the old East Germany. She's told me crime was non existent there.
Locally, they're trying to turn Anchorage into another Portland, OR. It's pretty sad really. I've been here since '99. Even dems (they weren't dim back then) were reasonable.
Things really started going to shit when Mark Begich was elected mayor in 2003. We thought he was one of the many reasonable dems we had up until then.
He completely fucked things up his second term beyond repair. The next mayor tried to fix things but it just wasn't enuf. Now we may as well have a Maxine Waters as mayor - He's a San Francisco carpet bagger that wants to turn the city into a homeless and criminal paradise. And he's got plenty of help from the city council.
Shoplifting is no longer a crime here. Police won't bother to respond if called, so don't bother. Car theft is only a crime after the thief has been caught 3 X's. How many cars do they steal before getting caught the third time? Those are two of many examples.
We're outta here in 1.5 yrs. I hope it's not too late.

I haven't heard any Democrats call for nationalizing American industries (except Maxine Waters). You can't have Communism without a socialist economic system which is state ownership of the means of production and distribution.

Did you lose money in Bushs crash in 2008? Were you hurt when foreclosures came by the millions. How about the banks not paying interest and jacking up fees? Did that hurt you?

Bush wasn't responsible for that. It was more government overreach again, shaking down the banks, calling them waycists and providing banks with the money to make bad loans for people with bad or no credit.

Look up the Community Reinvestment Act and get back to me. Everyone here isn't a brain dead millennial.

Actually eliminating banking regulation opened that door. But after banks failed, they jacked up interest rates to enormous levels and skyrocketed fees. They permitted we banking clients to heal their wounds. Of course Bush gave them a few trillion to start the saving of banks.

If you know anything about it, it started with Phil Gram getting the Commodity Futures Act. passed in a late night lame duck session.http://content.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1877351_1877350_1877330,00.html These guys laid the groundwork for the crash.

I don't feel sorry for any of them ... I watched illegal aliens buy $600,000 homes in my neighborhood while driving 30 yr old junker cars . F@ck the banks ! They got what they deserve !

And only $10 trillion to bail them all out ? We should have let most of them die !

More of them should have been put out of business !
