While Trump supporters (and DeSantis supporters) do run under the Republican flag, they are not like many Republicans. They are conservatives and constitutionalists. You are quite right that many Republicans no longer recognize the Constitution of the United States either. They are almost as bad as the Democrats, just running under a different name.
