Does Iran have the right to be a nuclear power?

I can just see Desh lecturing us on that Iran shouldnt have nuclear power.... Because its too dangerous and they are part of the axis of evil..

In an ideal world, no state would have the right to such terrible weapons as nuclear bombs/missiles. Realistically, however, every nation should be able to defend themselves as they see fit. In other words, I see no reason why Israel or the United States should have nuclear weapons but not Iran. Mutually assured destruction becomes our only friend.

well the way i see it.. who cares. let them have nukes.. and if they blow up America we will just all move into Canada since there is no way you guys could stop us.

i wouldn't say America lost that war. If anything it finally ended any question about American independence.
