Does Iran have the right to be a nuclear power?

Damocles kept on trying to tell me that the US didnt lose the Vietnam War....

CK
I did not, you dink. I simply translated and asked if you knew the difference between a battle and a war.

The man said we lost the war, and you pretended he said we hadn't. I simply pointed out your own disingenuous stupidity.

Actually it is you Damocles who disingeniously tried to play semantics... You said the US Army lost the battle but it was US public opinion that "lost" the war....

I said, "The man said, 'We lost that war because of the press, even while we didn't lose any battles.'"

You said that I said something I hadn't.

I simply pointed out that the man said, "We lost that war" while you kept pretending he said we hadn't.

You are either the stupidest human alive and can't understand that "We lost that war" means "We lost that war" or the most disingenuous poster here beside Cypress.

No actually Damocles you were arguing with me when I said that the US lost the Vietnam war... it was not "that man" it was you....

So I dunno why you are changing the story...Even after I got you to admit later on that yes the US did lose the Vietnam war....

You first gave me the excuse that public opinion lost the war....and than when I made you look bad you grudgingly admitted I was right....the US did lose the Vietnam war...

So are you changing your story again?

No, you moron, you said that McCain said that we hadn't lost VN during the debates. I simply pointed out what he had said, and that the remark started with "We lost that war".

You seriously are the most disingenuous poster, either purposefully or because Canadian schools teach a different form of English based in stupid.

Actually Damocles the quote is right here....

After making you look bad you finally had to admit that the US lost the Vietnam war.... But obviously you kept on giving excuses....

CK

I think that as long as public opinion of the war was negative we would have lost however long we stayed there. I think that if public opinion hadn't turned against the war we would have won and wouldn't have had to stay as long as we did.

I also believe that if there was a real and direct reason for the war, public opinion wouldn't have turned on the war....

I think that if you go to war in a wise way you will have that public support for your war. If you do not you will wind up with VN, with Korea, with Iraq...

This quote was in answer to a post by Cypress asking a question. If you note it says in that quote that I thought we would have lost regardless of how long we stayed...

You must be embarrassed posting a quote that says we lost to pretend to say it says the opposite.

Actually that was your John Kerry statement....

You said that the US didnt lose the war....and than through your playing with semantics you tried to sound like you knew all along that the US would lose....

Trying to play both sides AFTER i called you out....

You are a moron. I was stating what another said. In that particular quote you gave it was an answer to a question to me from Cypress and I stated that Public Opinion could have changed the course but we entered stupidly and were doomed to lose.

You just read what you want because you use the English based in Stupidity that I was talking about earlier.

You know, this portion of the quote, "we would have lost however long we stayed there."

It was very clear I didn't think we had "won" that war, or that we ever would have.

It is just your own disingenuousness that pushes you astray.

You know Damocles just looking at this statement that you made just feels disingenious.... Forget about anything else...if an unbiased observer just read what you posted here they would have thought about the John Kerry statement....

Your trying to play both sides with your semantics...Disingeniuous...

Again, look at the thread. I was speaking of a John McCain statement in the Republican debate where he said, "We lost the war because public opinion was against it, even while we won the battles."

That you said meant, "John McCain thinks the US won in VN!"

I spent time informing people of what he actually said. The remark had nothing to do with John Kerry, and the post of mine was a direct answer to a question of what I personally thought and I described it.

You are being deliberately obtuse, purposefully missing the meaning. Deliberately "misunderstanding" and attempting to redefine meaning that isn't there. You are either the lowest IQ (which I don't believe) or desperate again to start the same trolling where you suggest people are different than what they are.

Either way, never once have I ever said the US "won" in Viet Nam.

In order to take a statement that is about WHY we lost in Viet Nam and turn it into a statement of the opposite you either have to have English as a second language, or you must deliberately "misinterpret" (the very definition of disingenuous).

He said that they lost the war. It was very clear he said "we lost the war because" right before he gave the reason. He didn't equivocate, he was direct, and he said we lost.

We lost that war. What part of that sentence is difficult for you? Do you understand the difference between a battle and a war? Or, as I said before and is now becoming truly apparent, was your education lacking?

I'm not asking about John McCain's opinion...I am asking about your opinion....Damocles did the US win or lose the Vietnam war?

CK

I answered it, unequivocally. I then further asked you a question in turn. It is called a conversation.

It is what we have on this board.

Now one more time.

Here is what I said:

We lost that war.

What part of that sentence was difficult for you to understand?

I then asked further:

Do you understand the difference between a Battle and a War or is your education lacking?

I don't need an answer anymore, you have already proven that Canadian schools do not teach English well enough for you to take any part in a valid conversation on this matter, or you have proven that you were too lacking in gray matter to comprehend what they taught.

Now, either participate and answer the question or "act like a coward and dodge the question again".

Do you in fact understand the difference between the words "Battle" and "War"? And when he said, "We lost that war because" what part of that meant we "won" the war?

Note how I say, often, unequivocally that we lost the war. Note how often you attempt to make it mean something I didn't say...

Your argument is weak, you are either too stupid to understand the sentence, "We lost that war." or too disingenuous to read it.

This is the stupidest ever post. That was not a John Kerry statement. It was in a thread about the Republican Debate and it was a John McCain statement. Truly you are the most disingenuous poster. I am sorry I besmirched Cypress that way, while he is often disingenuous you reach to levels that are amazing and truly spectacular bits of tremendous stupidity in a desperate attempt to make it "seem" like you are right.

The most funny part was when you actually quoted one of the posts that took us directly to the thread that actually pointed out that it was a thread on the Republican Debate and that I was accurate in my reporting. While also showing that I hadn't said in any post on the thread that we had "won" the war. Shoot, even Cypress' question was whether I thought we would have won if we had stayed longer... That even admits that I said we had lost the war.

Cry more all you want Damocles...john McCain said it...YOU supported him...I called you out and you backed off your statement....

Than I make 1 post here about your statement...and than I get attacked by your sad lame excuses over and over again....and your convulated answers that support and than disagrees that the war was lost....

Hey I'm not the one that has to keep up making up lame excuses to back up my argument...Thats you...Thanks though for proving me right...

You are a partisan hack...

CK

Why bother Damo? Its pretty obvious that Supertard is just bored again, doing his usual, tired routine of putting words into people's mouths.

Why bite? It's like trying to debate a broken record player, a mindless device.

That is why he and cypress are together on IA. A blind/deaf monkey could understand what you and McCain stated. The very fact that he is trying to act as though either of you stated we won in vietnam is idiotic and childish. I know you don't like to use the IA, but it really does allievate having to wade through bullshit like what you are doing now.
