In Trump's government lawyers own filings in the appeal to 'stay' the tariff ruling while they appeal it they wrote the following in their legal filings, which will bind them to pay out should they lose this tariff appeal, which they are almost certain to do.

So mark my words now that if Trump claims the tariffs gave the gov't a big revenue and he cites the money that came in, but he never mentions, if forced to pay back, all this principle and interest, you can 100% BANK on @Damocles celebrating here the money that went in ONLY while being oblivious that it was a net loss for taxpayers.
