Most reports now expect, as court after court currently is saying Doge and Trump had no power to gut those agencies that Congress created that they must re-hire and if not pay compensation to those let go.
There is a growing expectation that Doge will end up costing the tax payers serious money over the next few years as tearing down is easy and rebuilding is far more costly.

There is simply no question Damocles fell for it hook, line and sinker until i started to provide him data on what a scam and lie it is. He was as they say 'cashing the checks he believed were coming as a result of all the savings'. FLOL.

I say this not intending insult, but know there is one in there, but Damocles is exactly the person Trump needs to win. Trumps magat cultists are with him no matter what, but they only represent about 33% of the voting public.
What Trump needs to win is a mushy, gullible and stupid center who hear what Trump says and just believe it uncritically and amplify and celebrate it as Trump is telling them things they want to hear.

I'll put aside that almost certainly, over the next few years DOGE costs taxpayers more than any claimed savings... Elon, at least is being honest about how Trump and the Magats AGAIN are about to balloon the deficit and debt.
And then if a Dem admin follows this Trump one, these same magats will begin again crying about Deficits and debt and demanding the Dem's reduce it.

This is like a politician quitting "to spend time with his family"... He's leaving because he finds his work fruitless, and the party he helped get into office simply wasted his efforts and failed to codify over 900 Billion in savings.
He's leaving for a reason, and I believe I have soundly explained exactly what that reason is. I like the guy, I like the idea, I hate that in practice the republicans just codified their own waste into the system.
