Doge Clock...

Total US contracts total much more than 100 billion dollars. Let's look at random contracts. $400 million for Tesla cybertrucks. Hmm.. I wonder why DOGE hasn't mentioned that. Over $22 billion in contracts for SpaceX. Many of those are unknown as to the amount or reason. When is DOGE going to cut those?

Maybe if you cry about it some more on JPP.com it'll make things happen.

Give it your best shot.

I didn't say that you said that. I noted that today you're crying about the price of eggs, loudly, and with force... telling everyone how it is somehow Trump's fault, when they know it isn't...

And then I am telling you what is going to happen. And that you will soon be libsplaining to those folks how the law of supply and demand works...

The main difference between you and I would be that I have been explaining how supply and demand works long before Trump announced his first candidacy and the things I say about these things don't change because leftist talking points tell you to cry about eggs, until they go down in price...
Summed up, alt lefties do not understand capitalism. ECON 101, (supply and demand) was your first mandatory college class before colleges went woke. and started pushing DEI and wokeness.

What's even worse than that is you won't admit it.
*Snurk* Dangit I shot some milk out my nose. lol...

Did Trump say "day one"? Yes.

Are folks still willing to wait for supply to meet demand? Yes.

Both of these things can be true. And in fact are.

And again... folks are willing to wait for supply to meet the demand even if you get really upset about it, and post in all caps... It will not change the reality.

Again. I really do think you should mention them more often... because I can see exactly how well it is working.
Did you suddenly forget that it was KKKonservatives who started the egg price bitch fit when Biden was still president? Of course you did.

I don't have a dog in this fight.

You don't have a dog at all, do you?

ANSWER, Christicrite!

What I'm complaining about is how trump fleeces the gullible with his bombastic claims about doing something on Day One, like lowering egg prices. The only thing I really care about is debunking trump's lies.

Complain some more. See if that'll reverse the election results.

As I said... You begin with, "Egg prices are high"... and end with. "I don't really care about it though, I just get mad because those dumb people are willing to wait when he said 'day one'..."

Listen to yourself. It takes 5 posts to get to the point where you suddenly understand and then try to gaslight me into thinking I believe something I don't. If you were looking at me you would see me lifting one eyebrow in bemusement with a Mona Lisa smile... shaking my head.

I think the left should focus on the eggs, I said so a long time ago... Eggs. You should mention them often... because that sh*t's working!
Nothing I wrote on this thread begins with the words "egg prices are high." Apparently you have to put your words in my mouth and hope that nobody notices. trump did not lower grocery prices ON DAY ONE as he said he would do. trump did not sign an EO on Day One lowering any prices. Why is it so hard for you to acknowledge that trump promised what we all know that he can't deliver?

Was it?

The American public started complaining about egg prices notably in early 2022, with complaints intensifying through 2023 and into 2024, due to a significant avian flu outbreak that led to a sharp increase in egg prices. The complaints were particularly pronounced around late 2022 when egg prices began to skyrocket, with some areas seeing prices quadruple from previous norms. This trend of public outcry continued into 2025, as egg prices remained high due to persistent avian influenza outbreaks affecting supply, alongside other economic factors like inflation.

Public discourse and complaints were evident on social media and in news articles highlighting frustration over egg prices as early as 2020, but it was the severity and duration of the price increases in 2022 and beyond that really amplified public complaints.

@Grok

Day one was a very verbose statement but, Trump has spent his entire time turning over rocks that lead to lower costs be they in taxes or the actual cost of goods. Let him get his cabinet picks in place to evaluate their tasks.

BTW, My fuel prices are down since Jan 6.
How nice for you. Mine aren't.

They don't have a choice. They sure as hell can't criticize the man they think is the second coming of Christ. He lies. Y'all eat it up. Then you both try to gaslight the country into believing that he never said what was recorded, that he said something else entirely, and that reality isn't true.

You've convinced me to never vote for Trump... of course I didn't regardless...

Though the fact that folks were complaining about the prices before he took office is the actual reason that they are willing to wait for supply to meet demand...

Of course, if more than a few months pass by and prices are still astronomical some folks will be complaining and you'll have an in.

You should keep on about the eggs, just in case the laws of supply and demand suddenly change!

Cry more. I'm lovin' it!
