But is it that simple? Is just cutting and calling something "Savings" when you do not look at all the costs on the other side. How much revenue and profits Apple and FB would lose?

Damocles entire approach to this is so sadly simple and yet he was so eager to dance to these so called 'savings' and start spending them on other things.

MAGAts continue to prove they are not very bright. They can't see past their next social security check.

In Damo's case, I think he's looking at JPP MAGAts as his bread and butter so he caters to them.
 
@Damocles do you read the above and understand how that type of thing, which is playing out all through government cannot only impact any claimed savings but could completely erase them?

Do you think this Doge is tracking anything on that side of the ledger or do you think they only report the firing as savings with zero consideration of the other side and then saying that is all 'savings'?

DOGE captured all the personal information that they possibly could. Information is valuable. They do not care about those agencies. It was a cover to loot info.

And more importantly it does not include two key things. Any of the forced rehires and the endless list of lawsuits that are working thru the courts. And the cost of unproductivity.

Elon did a version of Twitter when he bought and private sector workers have far less job protection rights than gov't generally and Elon only recently finally settled all the Twitter firings with 1/2 Billion dollar payment to all of them.

These government firings will pay out multiples more than that and this tracker will never put one penny of that in.

The pretense here counting in only one direction.

On unproductivity imagine i go in to Facebook tomorrow and claim by simply laying off ALL the staff i did a good thing by saving FB money. They would indeed get an immediate boost to the bottom lines as the salaries were taken away but if you do not count the productivity drop cost on the other side you are just being dumb.

It is the type of thing that fools an idiot like @Damocles who is ready to spend the 'savings' but anyone who thinks above a grade 1 level knows this is BS.
