DOJ reviewing Zimmerman case

Let's see, who is likely to know more about the subject? A former federal prosecutor or some guy called Rune on the interwebs?

Anyone can violate civil rights, not just the government or someone "acting under the cover of law", moron.
There also is little basis to charge Zimmerman with a federal hate crime, Weinstein said, since prosecutors would have to show that he shot and killed Martin primarily because of the teen's race. Nothing in the state trial suggested it was a racially motivated crime, he said.

NOTHING IN THE STATE TRIAL PROVED IT WASN'T RACIALLY MOTIVATED, FURTHERMORE, NOT ALL THE EVIDENCE WAS PRODUCED.
Additionally, the burden of proof for a civil trial is MUCH lower than that required for a criminal trial.
One can often lose a criminal trial, yet win the civil counterpart.

Opinion, unsubstantiated. In fact, the City of Sanford Florida is already under federal investigation, has been for quite a while. Your ex-prosecuter has his own political agenda, and is lying as well.

First the burden of proof is insanely high. They are going to have to prove that he killed trayvon specifically because trayvon was black. That's basically higher than the burden of 2nd degree murder.

I also think that the government isn't going to want to drag this on, keep the public riled up, they want peace and for people to go back to their lives. Plus imagine if zimmerman wins a second case. How many times do you want to be kicked in the face?

Your simply wrong. The burden of proof is always lower in a civil case.

His tepid response to this is being widely scorned in the black community.

All he had to say was something stupid about the need for gun control .. when in fact, this case points to a need to arm our sons and daughters WITH guns to protect themselves from the monsters.

I would rather have seen Trayvon turn around and shoot that Zimmerman bastard to death for following him than the way it turned out.

Of course all the idiots who support Zimmerman would be crying about Zimmerman being killed for doing nothing.

Or maybe parents could teach their sons and daughters, especially their sons, not to assault people and put themselves at risk.
But then, that might mean taking responsibility and we know that liberals are never going to do that; because it might mean they could fail and then what would they do or who could they blame the tragedies on.

By the way, those sons and daughters are already armed or are you willfully overlooking Chicago and their murder rate.
Odd how you haven't taken up just one of those causes.
But since it's mostly black on black, what would you gain; right?
