Donald Trump to kick transgender troops out of US military

So we will discharge 15,000 service members from a depleted force because your closeted ass can't deal.

You is kind. You is smart. You is important. :ROFLMAO:
Yes, I would. Between the psychological and medical issues such persons have, they need to go. The suicide rate alone should be sufficient evidence to discharge them.

Given that there are (in round numbers) 2.1 million persons in US military service, 15,000 represents less than .01% of the military. They are insignificant in number but their 'issues' result in disproportionate spending costs to treat their insanity. In the last 5 years this has amounted to $15 million, to include $11.5 million in psychotherapy and another $3.1 on transition surgery. Those are totally avoidable expenses.

The US military shouldn't have to be treating crazy people for stuff that can obviously be avoided by not hiring them to begin with.

And you'll note that no evidence was provided to substantiate that claim of "15,000".

I looked that up. It was an estimate. Actually, it's estimated that there are 15,500, but who's counting. The article I used had only a fraction of that as the count and the cost was already $15 million. With the full 15,500 it's likely more like $50 million today.

Did you notice whose estimate it was?

Hardly an unbiased source, right?

I suspect Weasle is engaging in propaganda.

Now, the Military News article only tracked about 2,000 for a cost of $15 million that was documented starting in 2021. If the number today is really 15,000, then the costs for treatment have skyrocketed. That's 7.5 times more transgenders at roughly 20% more dollars. That translates to a high-end value of about $130 million in treatment costs.

As I suspected.

"The primary data source for the estimates of transgender military service is the National Transgender Discrimination Survey (NTDS), which was conducted by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and the National Center for Transgender Equality. The survey was fielded over six months beginning in fall 2008 and resulted in 6,546 valid responses"...

What did they consider a "valid response"... somebody said so... or so they claim.

Hardly impartial estimates, in my opinion. This isn't "research; it's propaganda.

The fact is that nobody knows for sure. Not even close.

I'm pointing out that regardless of whether it's 15,000 or 1500, they aren't worth the hassle to the military whose job it is to kick ass in a war. The military isn't a social engineering institution and the last thing it needs is people hired on the basis of race, gender, or sexual orientation.

I agree completely. They're a liability.
Absolutely. They are a total liability. They are psychologically unstable, as proven by the exorbitant psychological costs they incur. The cost of "transition surgery" should be something the military doesn't even consider. Why should the US military do elective cosmetic surgery on the US taxpayer dime at all?

The article I cited from 2021 comes out at something like $5,000 to $7500 a head in psychological counseling. The military doesn't need unstable, crazy people in its ranks.

They call it "healthcare"... :palm:

Read up on Bradley Manning....

My wife who was a Top says that only an idiot would deploy transgenders because of the drugs they are on and their assorted problems, and the last thing the Army needs is more non deployable soldiers.

For those who are not familiar with the military non deployables and those who scam their way out of deployment's are generally a unit morale problem..

Close to when I retired, the military started making people sign as part of their contracts that they would remain in a deployable personal situation. It started with everyone signing a form that said they would do that, like an official order. This was aimed at single parents, particularly single mothers who were using the excuse they had no one to look after their kids. Failure to have a means to provide alternative childcare meant the service member was subject to charges under the UCMJ and potentially being discharged with a less than honorable.

Of course they know that. They signed up purely to get free health care for all their physical and mental problems. And all the expensive drugs they will need the rest of their miserable lives. They don't give a damn about soldiering.
The only thing more insane is transing prisoners for free.

WOKE is absolutely a cult.
