What can I say? I'ts what I was taught during my time AS A MORMON.
How's about first you link me to all these "accounts you've heard" that contradict what I said.
I do Jarod... you clearly are the one who is also ignorant on yet another topic.
If you wish Jarod... please highlight why it is a person would deliberately and consistently lie about a group, if not due to bigotry? What other reason would a person do such thing Jarod?
BTW....

"big·ot
[big-uht] Show IPA
noun
a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion. "
And Im the one you guys keep calling ignorant?
Where have I been intolerant of a dffering creed, belief or obinion? Or were you simply throwing out the bigot card for fun?
and you think that deliberately lying about someone else's beliefs makes you tolerant?
The fact remains that once you've joined the LDS church, thechurch hierarchy consider you a member for life...no matter what YOU do or which religion you convert to later, the CHURCH will consider you Mormon.
My family joined the LDS church when I was high school...some 35 years ago...and although I quit going soon after and I've moved numerous times since, the missionaries always manage to find me and stop by to say hi.
I did not even say anything negative about the Mormon Church, yet they were sure quick to start calling me a bigot!
1) I have not lied about anyone's belifes.
2) Even if I had... No, thats not necessarly intolerance.
I did not even say anything negative about the Mormon Church, yet they were sure quick to start calling me a bigot!
I love the "please link to the Mormon church website" as though the Mormon church is a paragon of transparency as to its internal workings.
Yet we can provide links on how to resign from the church...
Fascinating.
yes, it is. There is no valid reason to deliberately lie about someone else's beliefs. None.
you deliberately started a thread with the intent of telling us how bad a double mormon ticket would be. When shown that your statement about LDS was wrong, you continued pretending to be right. You deliberately spread a falsehood at that point. That is bigoted.

I said it would be bad, from a political stragety stand point, silly. Thats not the same as saying it would be bad because I dont like Mormons. Are you so desperate that you have to make that leap? Again, even if I was wrong, its not bigotry.
If I incorrectly said that all Christians dontate money to the poor, would that be bigorty?
Seriously, you guys are being such bigots!
Once proven incorrect and continuing spreading the nonsense, that is bigotry. Do you still insist that they are "always considered" Mormons even though you now know there is an official process to leave the church and removed from their roles? So far you have. That is deliberately spreading what you know to be untrue...
Yes, I am intolerant of religious bigotry, even when done in ignorance. I'll continue to be intolerant of it even if you mention that intolerance of such a belief is bigotry. Sometimes being intolerant is the right thing to do.
