Double Mormon Ticket...

I love the "please link to the Mormon church website" as though the Mormon church is a paragon of transparency as to its internal workings.

Then you can surely show us where it states that. Being all learned and all. That is what I am asking for. Show us where we can find such information. Mine was purely anecdotal, which is why I asked you (a former Mormon) for something more concrete than 'they find me to say hi'

Please show me an english language dictionary cite that says bigorty is lying about a group. I see that being intolerant about a group is bigotry, but I dont see anything about being misinformed or lying...

Actually the FACT remains that there is a process to officially leave the church and you are simply repeating what you want to believe over actual information provided for you.

you deliberately started a thread with the intent of telling us how bad a double mormon ticket would be. When shown that your statement about LDS was wrong, you continued pretending to be right. You deliberately spread a falsehood at that point. That is bigoted.

I said it would be bad, from a political stragety stand point, silly. Thats not the same as saying it would be bad because I dont like Mormons. Are you so desperate that you have to make that leap? Again, even if I was wrong, its not bigotry.

If I incorrectly said that all Christians dontate money to the poor, would that be bigorty?

Once proven incorrect and continuing spreading the nonsense, that is bigotry. Do you still insist that they are "always considered" Mormons even though you now know there is an official process to leave the church and removed from their roles? So far you have. That is deliberately spreading what you know to be untrue...

Yes, I am intolerant of religious bigotry, even when done in ignorance. I'll continue to be intolerant of it even if you mention that intolerance of such a belief is bigotry. Sometimes being intolerant is the right thing to do.

I do not belive I have been proven wrong. I have seen nothing from an official Mormon or LDS cite saying that there is a process to leave the mormon church. I do agree that it appears there is a process by which you can remove your name from the rolls. I called one of my my friends from the weekend, (she is a mormon) and she said that even if there names are removed, they are still considered Mormons and are treated differently than people who were never baptised in the church.

Well, I agree with all of that statement except the part that suggests that ignorance of a religen is the equivelent of bigorty!
