owners standards seem to have an inverse relation between appearance standards and the actual ability to find workers. If you need them badly enough, you will hire warm bodies.

And yet I would still expect them to comply with my appearance code. I would not want some steering wheel holder with tatts and piercings handling a high end charter let alone a school trip. I don't care how good or qualified he is. My drivers are the ambassadors of my company.

yep, you are the king and your racism should make all the rules. You should be able to check if employees are getting enough sleep since a well-rested worker is more efficient. You should be able to check whether they drink. that might be a problem. you should hire Mormons.

You accuse me of racism because I expect a clean and professional appearance from all of my drivers, regardless of skin color or gender? Like I said, If you're a Yankees fan, you can readily see they have the strictest appearance code in the Majors.
 
How in the name of heck can anyone consider a dress and conduct code on the jobsite to be racist? That's some incredible conflation there.

Why? Just because I am Conservative does not make me a racist one iota. it does allow me to pour all the scorn and contempt on the Left as I see fit though.
