Because the tilt of the hat was the reason given. There was no mention of anything else.
 
So my coming from an impovished family is now a joke? I thought you defended victims Darla? or is that only the 'helpless' ones?

Lots of urban youth wear hip hop style clothing which can definitely pass as thuggish. That alone isn't going to get you shot. It's when you wear the wrong items in the wrong part of town that you can really place yourself in danger. Unfortunately mistaken identity, such as in this case, where how one wears their hat can represent membership in a gang got this kid shot.

It can get you killed if some real gangsta sees you. Therefore, it's dangerous and then further, it's stupid
