Nobody disagrees that dividing 1 by 3 gives a remainder, if you represent the number as a decimal with a finite number of places. It's just that you seem to have great difficulty understanding that a number can equally well be represented as a fraction.

It's valid to represent it as a decimal with an infinite number of places as well, provided that you know the pattern that fits into each nth decimal place. Any number that can be represented as a fraction can be represented in this "hyperreal" notation.
