The only way to properly explain it is to use limit notation and add the infinite amount of remainders together. Again, THIS IS PERFECTLY VALID IN MATHEMATICS. Things like this are, in fact, the basis for all of calculus. You don't have to manually do this for it to count. That's retarded.

Nobody disagrees that dividing 1 by 3 gives a remainder, if you represent the number as a decimal with a finite number of places. It's just that you seem to have great difficulty understanding that a number can equally well be represented as a fraction.
