Electric Cars Exploding from Water Damage after Ian

Fire officials are advising anyone with an EV in the garage or on their property to move it as quickly as possible because of the danger of explosion... and often no way to put it out... they just have to let them burn... obviously this can cause considerable other damage to property around it
I saw a video over in Europe they submerged a car entirely in water to put it out.

So what? How often do cars and trucks with gasoline or diesel explode? Are you a tree-hugger seeking to ban cars, Lig?

Pretty rare, actually, considering the number of gasoline and diesel cars out there.
There are, of course, notable exceptions, such as the Ford Pinto, that caught fire due to bad design.

Cars have evolved from model T cars. They have become safer and better. Today's EV are just model T cars and need to improve. Batteries in the under pan that can flood with salt water is a flaw.

As I said earlier, gasoline-powered vehicles can be ruined by flooding too. Comparing a Tesla to a model T is ludicrous.

Thankfully you're in no danger since you can barely afford food for those 18 dogs, let alone an EV.

Yes, because all presidents have that power.
He signed too many spending bills and adopted policies that helped to increase the price of oil. Strange how those things tend to cause inflation. And strange how inflation increased after they were done. Inflation was 1.4% when Biden took office. Gasoline was $2.29

Good God. That expensive fad isn't working out too well.

Conservatives don't seem to want anything but fossil fuels to work.

I find that odd.
Oh I'm game for EVs to take hold but it should be a slow orderly process and only when they naturally make sense. They need to work out their charging issues first. Our energy grid needs to be upgraded before millions of cars can be reliably charged on it. Can you imagine the exploding transformers if everyone on the block plugged in their electric vehicles at the same time. Trying to drive up the cost of driving an ICE car to push EVs is crazy. It's going to be fun to see how fast California has to reverse on their rules outlawing new ICE cars. They are having a hard enough time just keeping the lights on with their power grid.

I just read a piece about how electric trucks (and presumably cars) are nearly useless for towing....that's a problem.

Yeah there are some very interesting videos on trucks towing. Their range is pathetic.

What is it $55,000 for a truck that cant pull.

Awesome.
