Twitter owner Elon Musk teased that "what really happened with the Hunter Biden story" and its suppression by the social media giant in 2020 would be revealed Friday afternoon.

"What really happened with the Hunter Biden story suppression by Twitter will be published on Twitter at 5pm ET!" he wrote, in a tweet that went viral immediately.

"This will be awesome," he added, including a popcorn emoji, and promising it would include a live Q&A.

Musk has promised to bring greater transparency to Twitter since he officially took over in October, including shedding light on why the company took the unprecedented step of limiting and blocking sharing of the New York Post's story on Hunter Biden's laptop in 2020, weeks before his father was elected president.

We know the FBI gave Face Book a heads up about the release of Russian disinformation a week or so before the Laptop story broke.

That’s nice. Why does it matter? They are a private business and not a public agency. I’m still waiting on the prosecutor in charge of the investigation and his findings.
 
I wonder if Musk is opening up Twitter to substantial liability. The Revolution will use everything at its disposal to harm Musk.

I think the issue is pressure by the govt. to suppress? Wasn't that trump's govt. at the time?

Hunter was a druggie who definitely made the most of his family name. What they're trying to do is to show that POTUS was involved in some way, which is ludicrous.

I find it fascinating that this same group is totally disinterested in the trump Klan's bilking of the taxpayers for more than 4 years.
