Not true. There are FCC licenses for a reason.

So what I've gleaned from multiple sources thus far, is that Twitter was twisting itself into knots trying to figure out how to avoid another '16 election debacle.

The NY Post is nothing more than a tabloid. Their article stated without a doubt that Biden directly benefitted from his son's work at Burisma.

To this day, that has been proven to be a lie. Twitter wasn't going to allow this lie to be spread on its platform a month before the election.

The angst here seems to be over how Twitter chose to prevent this lie to be spread all over its platform

Well, first off it wasn’t the government, it was the Biden campaign that made a request of Twitter to remove some dick pictures off of Twitter, so, again, it wasn’t the government, it was the Biden campaign.
