Sorry, but being called a racist, or having it implied, will always tick me off. It should any reasonable human being.

Are we now saying that not only can BAC be the only one to speak on civil rights issues, but that he is really the only one who is "qualified" to be offended by anything?

I believe that racism can go away. I don't believe we can do it by widening the separation, and calling people racists just for disagreeing.

Onceler you sound so self-involved and self-pitying on this thread. I'm sad for you. I've said all I can say. If you want to continue to navel-gaze feel free. Maybe hook up with Tom and you two can start a band, whatever. To me, there's no middle ground on this and I am not trying to make nice with people who have diseased hearts. I don't give a shit about them. Frankly it's guys like you who are always ready to deal away the rights of minorities and women for the "greater good" so we can all get along and compromise. Fuck that.
 
Remember, anyone testifying for Martin must have been biased; anyone testifying for Zimmerman was totally objective. That is how the system works, right?

I can't tell you how glad I am not to be in "the group" today.

And I never said I outright didn't believe her. I think the conflicting testimonies & evidence created too much ambiguity for a jury to cross the reasonable doubt threshold.

It may surprise you, desh, but not everyone is going to agree with every thing you say; and this doesn't necessarily make them a racist.

Still think you're despicable for implying that I am one, btw.

Darla, with all due - you lost me when you said (paraphrasing) "shut up - you're trying to silence people."

Frankly, I don't care what you think about me, on this thread or any other. The groupthink BS on this thread is some of the worst I've seen; agree w/ us, or you're a racist. Oh - and don't comment on minority or women's issues.
