Sometimes there's areas of agreement, most of the time not. I generally just ignore the political discussions, or otherwise give some sort of "mhmmm yeah sure" response, and then I go on with my day. I don't always enjoy discussing (or otherwise arguing) politics with people, but when I do, I much prefer discussing it with people who are able to consider other viewpoints.

I'm able to consider other viewpoints. The other day I tried to engage two people, @IBDaMann and @Highlight who both claimed "the Holocaust - the killing of 6 million Jews by the Nazi's in the 30's and 40's was a hoax. Now I'm Jewish., But did I lash out and insult them? No! I truly wanted to know why they thought it was a hoax and where they got their information. IBD ended up claiming he "never said it and I was stupid for thinking so" and Highlight just ran away.

So I would have engaged them politely had they really wanted to debate. Turned out they were both full of shit - IBD was mad at me for refuting his arguments.

I've been enjoying my interactions with you nowadays. I think your political views are quite nutters and generally opposite of mine, but the sports and otherwise non-political discussions have been fun.

Well, I might be a nut. If I was, how would I know? I think, given the elevated climate overall with trump now threatening to "nationalize elections" - we need to stick together. Why?

Once trump is down putting down the Democrats - he's not going to stop. His administration is already laying the groundwork to evicerate the 2A. Several in the administration claim, "it's unlawful to carry a gun to a protest". Well, someone had better tell the founders and also these guys, the "Proud Boys".

Capitalism allows all people the opportunity to rise to the level of their ambition and their talent. You support Communism because it ensures that no one rises above another. The lowest common denominator rules all - save the elite. You don't mind living in poverty, so long as your neighbor suffers in poverty as well.

At this point there is no evidence that they were directing Fauci or the Chinese. But does that exonerate them? I'd say "no," that profiteering from a pandemic is itself a crime against humanity.
