I can't recall Trump ever doing that. I CAN recall Democrats doing that when they shut down the government for 43 days last year, however. I CAN also recall Democrats stealing taxpayer money in Minnesota (and that's not the only place that's happening).
It's really not irrelevant. How a presidential candidate conducts their finances is of great interest to voters. trump says he values "transparency". I know you'd scream bloody murder if a Democrat tried to conceal his or her tax information.
I really don't care about one's tax information. What interests me much more, though, is how so many CONgress critters and Senators can come into office with very little money and then in a couple of years be mega multimillionaires on a salary that's under $200K/year. That's one of the things that is both a Donkey AND an Elephant problem.

I truly wanted to know why they thought it was a hoax and where they got their information. IBD ended up claiming he "never said it and I was stupid for thinking so" and Highlight just ran away.
So I would have engaged them politely had they really wanted to debate. Turned out they were both full of shit - IBD was mad at me for refuting his arguments.

Once trump is down putting down the Democrats - he's not going to stop. His administration is already laying the groundwork to evicerate the 2A. Several in the administration claim, "it's unlawful to carry a gun to a protest". Well, someone had better tell the founders and also these guys, the "Proud Boys".
