ethically (and legally) appropriate application of deadly force

It was only a joke. Good for you not using resources ( gas ) wastefully.

I wasn't mad, I was kinda playing along. Lightenup Sailor.

There's something to be said for good gas mileage. I rented some kinda tiny Honda car recently when I went out of town, and it got awesome mileage. Drove around for a week for practically nothing. But I was still glad to get back to my Silverado. I feel a lot safer in it. That little car felt like driving a go-cart, lol.

I don't get to join my liberal friends with the green stuff because my Grand Cherokee hemi 's mileage is all but measured in gallons per mile.
I mean, I'd go, but I don't get invited.

Just curious, what would be your standards for using deadly force?

You may call it a coincidence, but my standard is exactly what my State's laws consider legal. It says that use of deadly force is justified if the PERSON USING IT believes his/her life is in danger. Interestingly enough, it doesn't make a reference as to anyone else getting to make that determination as an armchair quarterback after looking at a video.

I am not sure what state you are from, but I think a jury of your peers would be someone else being an armchair quarterback. By your standards I could have just shot that jerk that intentionally cut me off in traffic and flipped me off, he almost caused me to crash, and that could have hurt me. Hell, his car is a deadly weapon. I don't believe your state law says the person using deadly force gets to determine if it is justified or not. Come'on man, that is crazy.

The laws in my state don't say you get to determine how someone else feels. Anyone trying to determine whether or not a person was justified would be trying to do just that.

Your car can't be a deadly weapon. It wasn't designed for that purpose.

A car is indeed a deadly weapon. What state do you live in? Confusion?

I really think every single thing you said here is dead wrong.
