Bombs are easy to build. Arson works quite well. The 1990 Happy Land Nightclub Fire in NYC killed 87 people. In the 1974 Gulliver's Nightclub Fire in New York, the arsonist wasn't even trying to kill anyone, but still killed 24 people. Truck drivers are easily stopped and caught after they've killed people. Airplanes used to be hijacked and diverted quite regularly, until the strict security practices of today were put in place. It still happens, but is quite rare. Of course, we still see the occasional bomb smuggled on board a commercial airliner. And you have excuses for everything.

I'd rather have him try to explain his foolishness and look even more foolish that he already does.

Whether or not someone violates the 12b rule, at least from what I've noticed, is based more on who is doing the deciding rather than what someone said.

Doing that to himself is too quick and easy. His needs to be more like that of Ted Kennedy where the process if long, agonizing, witnessed by his family, and economically depleting.

Simple bombs are easy enough to make, as you demonstrated when you backed the Provisionals in the Six Counties, but they are usually of small effect in comparison with gunfire, whereas complex ones are easily tracked down. We tried arson here, and it is not very effective at achieving anything, though a lot of people can end up dead, as they can when people turn themselves into explosives. All this is showing that there are other means to kill people, difficult to stop, whereas gun-murder can be eliminated very quickly except where the NRA dishes murder-weapons out for fun and provit to the merry murderers.
