Let me make sure I understand. We have a voluntary military now. People sign up for the military knowing that they will be deployed to some shit hole of Bush's making. Is it your position that they weren't prepared to be deployed?

I am a Libertarian Centrist.

The Democratic Party has gone so far to the extreme Left that it is no longer recognizable.

Everyone I know dislikes and fears them. They certainly would never vote for them. I belong to my wife's huge Hispanic American Family. I know Thousands of People.

The California National Guard has standards. The Texas National Guard has standards also, but they just ignore them. The standards are set by the federal government.

If someone in the California National Guard is too obese to be useful, they are retired from the national guard. If someone in the Texas National Guard is too obese to be useful, they are kept, so their health insurance can be subsidies by the federal government.

National Guardsmen (and women) are citizens who work and live as such, unless the need to call on them arises. I believe they must attend training one weekend a month? What is ignored?

Most are "retired" after they complete their enlistment requirement. I don't know about the "health insurance."
