Judge orders Trump admin to restore slavery exhibits at President's House Site

In a decision citing George Orwell's dystopian novel "1984", a federal judge Monday prohibited the Trump administration from removing exhibits related to slavery on Independence Mall.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A federal judge has ordered the restoration of interpretive panels telling stories of people who were enslaved at the President's House site in Philadelphia, siding with city officials and advocacy groups who argued that removing the displays erased the history of enslaved people held by George Washington.

What began as a protest at the President's House on Monday afternoon turned into a celebration when supporters learned of the ruling.

No, and neither is playing Trivial Pursuit at a national park with the displays. A single plaque might have been appropriate. A whole wall of them detailing the lives of something like 9 slaves that were occasionally at the site is stupid beyond belief.

Sure, they are. How important to the site is the fact that for a few years, one President had 9 slaves as servants on the site in comparison to the Presidents and other VIP sorts that used it? Is there a mention of other serving staff that were non-slaves? Why make such a big deal out of a few of "The Help" simply because they were Black and slaves? What's so special about them?

This is Woke on steroids. Like I said, a single small plaque might be appropriate, not a whole wall detailing those people's lives.

Oh wait, he meant that all the racist stuff must remain no matter how uncomfortable but anything that memorializes slavery or issues of PoC or natives, etc, that needs to be removed from sight and not "learned from".
