FEMA is doing nothing....

Indeed.

As usual, the far left Democratic Socialist loons put illegals above legal American

They are not even supposed to be here. They are non-citizen criminals who invaded our country, Concarty.

Legal American citizens who pay our taxes and fight our wars have priority over the invaders…except with the foul, rotten, far left Democratic Socialist loons like you, Concarty.

Did you purchase an English grammar book as I instructed you to do and study the chapter on punctuation, Concarty?

You are “rich” so the cost should be no problem.

Poor Concarty…but “rich.”
JPP's own Richie Rich... So we've been told...

You said how are they going to charge their phones? And I gave you an example of how that would be possible...They can
Be purchased and delivered by helicopter....The government should pay for them and deliver ... Is communication is critical right now...They give Undocumented immigrants a phone... Do they not?
Got a link or something to back up your actuation that undocumented immigrants are being given cell phones?
and right now it is MORE important to get food and water to these people instead of charging devices for cell phones.
Why can't you MAGAS GET YOUR PRIORITIES in order?
And why should my tax money be used to give people phone chargers that I don't even have?
You morons cry that they need to cut the budget then you want to spend our tax money like this.
Get these people what the really need first then give them the extras.

Yes, the border bill would have already removed many of them. But you killed it. So stfu.
I thought that I explained that, Concarty.

It would have allowed millions of illegals to cross our border every year and the funding was to help the BP to process them.

Poor, poor (but “ rich”) Concarty.

With Trump all you get is lies and more lies.

Fact check: Six days of Trump lies about the Hurricane Helene response

Monday: Trump falsely claims Biden hasn’t answered calls from Georgia’s governor
Monday: Trump cites baseless ‘reports’ about anti-Republican bias in the North Carolina response
Thursday: Trump falsely claims the Biden-Harris response had received ‘universally’ negative reviews
Thursday: Trump falsely claims Harris spent ‘all her FEMA money’ on housing illegal migrants
Friday: Trump falsely claims $1 billion was ‘stolen’ from FEMA for migrants and has gone ‘missing’
Saturday: Trump falsely claims the federal government is only giving $750 to people who lost their homes
Saturday: Trump falsely claims there are ‘no helicopters, no rescue’ in North Carolina
Oops, I posted the same thing! I'll see if I can delete mine.

Edit: I'm sorry Trumpet, it was too late. :(

Just send the charging devices along with the food and water. And medical supplies...... Communication is critical. Where do you think many undocumented immigrants get their phones? Along with so much else... Americans should come first... Never a question...If you buy those chargers in bulk..4 or more... they're very reasonable. Check it out.... Get a couple you'll thank me

I absolutely Do realize how difficult this is. I also realize the resources that our country has available... That should have been in place from day one..... They aren't moving fast enough.... their mouths are moving... that's about it...

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis defended FEMA during a news briefing in Asheville on Friday. This comes after some said FEMA was nowhere to be seen when they needed food, water and other basic necessities after Helene.

“I’ve lived in North Carolina for almost 30 years, I’ve seen a lot of storms come through this state," Tillis said. "I’m impressed with how much attention was paid to a region that wasn’t likely to experience the impact that they did."

..."In Buncombe County, the county manager says they have everything they need now.

“We’re feeling pretty good," Avril Pinder said. "At the beginning, the first 72 hours it was hard to get any help in here. But they are here on the ground with us. I was told that we have over a thousand responders coming in from across this country, helping us."

She said that now, "we have lots of resources."

What the “non-partisan” bill would do:

The new emergency authority could be activated if border “encounters” reach a daily average of 4,000 over a period of seven days and would become mandatory once border encounters reachover 5,000 over a period of seven days or 8,500 over a single calendar day. However, there are several other rules governing the use of the emergency authority, rendering it much less straightforward than the simple mathematics of crossings (for example, the so-called “discretionary” authority at the 4,000/day level would in fact be mandatory for the first 90 days at that level after passage). In addition, the bill defines “encounters” to exclude apprehensions of unaccompanied migrant children.

This is a free cross over bill, not a border bill.

Miss Marple, the citizens of the affected areas are saying just the opposite.

I believe them.

The lack of response and empathy for these American citizens in the affected areas is beyond appalling. It borders on criminality.

Many of these Americans are Trump supporters. Will they be able to vote in a few weeks?

Is that what is behind this lack of response?
