What the party of trump forgets is that factories are an investment that goes out into decades to be repaid. No one is going to build a factory with this much turmoil going on.

Look at the cancer in the picture carefully. It draws in blood veins to feed its massive growth. If we can understand how it does that, which we almost do, we can keep it from doing that. It is one of the several very hopeful developments in cancer treatment... That trump wants America to turn away from.
Maybe other countries will develop cures to cancer. That is not as good for our economy, but at least some of us can then get treatments from those foreign countries.

Exactly. Do they (the deplorable garbage supporting this ill-conceived crap) really think that Americans are going to go back to paying 2-3 times or more for shoes, clothes, household goods, etc. if somehow the Toadstool and #PresMusk manage to bring the manufacture of those things back to America? Hell no, they won't.

My oldest daughter received one of those treatments that blocks the tumor from creating new vessels to feed it. It worked well, at least for a while. It's a TNF (tumor necrotizing factor) chemotherapy used for patients whose tumors have spread distally from the primary.
The alt right will have their revenge on America, and America will be worse for it. But I believe in the long run we will learn from it.
A different set of drugs, but the same basic story with my father. Currently, these drugs are buying us a few more years with our loved ones, but then the cancer evolves around the drugs. In the future, I hope, they will be a cure.
Oncology researchers are leaving the USA, but they are not leaving oncology. They will continue to develop cures, just not in the USA. I guess that is something.
