Putin won't stop just because Trump coerces Ukraine into surrendering Donbass. Putin didn't stop at Crimea.
Once Trump gives Donbass to Putin, Vlad will eventually make a move on Kyiv, and central Ukraine, which is his real target since Kiev has symbolic and cultural significance for Russian pride and Russian historical destiny - as Putin sees it.
