Florida textbook altered to remove references to Rosa Parks's race

I already answered this. See this is exactly why we are where we are. You don't read what's written and if you do you don't respond to what's written you respond to whats inside your head. That's why no decent conversations can be had here with leftists.

Sighs. Since you refused to answer, I'll answer for you.

It is a feel good law that does nothing but to cater to the demands of the base. Is there any evidence that the students are made to feel guilty about the atrocities in the past? No? Then the act is worthless.

Cannot believe I have to spell out the simple point to you.

I don't get it. The OP merely posts an article about the revisions due to the act and you lost your shit?

Rosa Parks race.

No it wasn't. This is what I fucking mean.

Context
The publisher says the changes provided to Florida officials were an overreaction to a vaguely written Florida law; the publisher has since re-written the section on Rosa Parks to include mention of her race in the most recent version of that lesson.

The law was intentionally cages to promote this type of result. Wake up.

The group objected to a fifth-grade textbook mentioning slavery 189 times and that an eighth-grade book gave too much attention to the “negative side” of the treatment of Native Americans without detailing instances of their own violence,

Cages? No the law is quite clear and says nothing which not mentioning race. Show me that in the law. I don't really give a fuck about your opinion.

Just like Jennings was treated in NYC.

Jennings was not asked to give up her seat for a white person. There was no law in NYC stating black people had to ride in the black section or couldn't ride at all. She won her case because there was no restrictions under the law. Jennings filed a civil suit. Parks was arrested because she violated a law.

In Jennings' case the company violated the law that allowed blacks to ride which is why she won her civil suit.
In Park's case, Park violated the law that forced segregation which is why she was arrested.
Jennings' case didn't result in any law changes.
Park's case led to the result of laws being declared unconstitutional.

I showed you where it wasn't true from the citation you directed me to in post #5. You clearly need another hit form you crack pipe dick head.

In an attempt to cater to Florida, at least one publisher made significant changes to its materials, walking back or omitting references to race, even in its telling of the Rosa Parks story.

You were saying, dumbfuck?

Yes and from the article that the idiot who started this horse shit posted

Still, the Florida Department of Education suggested that Studies Weekly had overreached in its efforts to follow Florida law, saying that any publisher that “avoids the topic of race when teaching the Civil Rights movement, slavery, segregation, etc. would not be adhering to Florida law,” the department said in a statement to the New York Times.

You're a retarded donkey fucking moron. You really are.
