who said that was their only basis? I think her articulate testimony before Congress play into those opinions... why wouldn't you agree?

People think she's smart & articulate because of how she presented herself & her position initially, and how she responded to Rush, which made him look small & ridiculous (not that he needed help w/ that).

Congress isn't supposed to be some bastion of the most qualified gov't people we can find in America. It's supposed to be a place where regular Americans can serve - preferably temporarily - and bring their viewpoint into the marketplace of ideas. There are no qualifications you need for that, except to have opinions and positions on the issues that you can present to the people of your district.

She was articulate in her speech and a super friendly Dem. agreement with her position certainly helped....then Limbaugh's slur and the liberal press response gave her
even more credibility....yet no one logically questioned her argument....
