Hearsay is not allowable and that's what you're pinning your dreams on.
Bottom line right now is: One side is asking for an FBI investigation to find out if more can be found...and the other side is doing everything it can to prevent the FBI from investigating and finding more.
The charge was made by Ford who knew Kavanaugh...and knew Judge whom she identified as a witness and an enabler. One side wants Judge to testify and one side does not.
Which side is acting more like the party trying to hide something?

Which side is still trying to claim something is true when those named as witnesses to a supposed action say it didn't occur?

How are you supposed to determine the truth of what happened that night based on the couple of hours of testimony of the victim and the accused?

I agree. These charges are so serious they warrant serious investigation and if true should lead to a criminal conviction and jail time for Brett Kavanaugh. That is why I encourage Dr. Ford to file a criminal complaint with the local police department of Montgomery County
We've been over why local PD can't do the job. There's no penalty for lying to them. It's not a felony and is rarely prosecuted.
So you need the FBI to investigate because lying to the FBI is a felony and carries mandatory prison time. Lying to local PD doesn't.
I get why you don't want the FBI to investigate; Conservatives have trouble telling the truth to the FBI.
Just ask Manafort.
Or Flynn.
Or Gates.
Or Papadopolous.

Conservatives simply cannot be truthful with the FBI.
They've seen what lying to the FBI gets you, and they're scared.
So they posture. But no one believes they really want an investigation. They want to rush a hearing without one. Then they wonder aloud how anyone's supposed to determine what happened based on just the testimony of just Ford and Bretty. So what will happen is that it will end up as a "he said"/"she said", no conclusions will be able to be drawn, and everyone will be left wondering what the point of the hearing was.

Actually, Kavanaugh has already talked with the Senate Judiciary committee under penalty of a felony. He has already stated he is willing to testify on MONDAY. He is ready to go. It is Ford who is stalling.
The proper place for this investigation is the local law enforcement where charges can be brought.
This FBI thing is a gambit and you know it. Stop being so obvious.
Here is a question. If this was sooooooo important, why didn't Ford's lawyer say that on Monday morning when asked if her client would testify? When asked she said unequivocally YES

There exists no standard by which this Conservative is making this claim; and in fact, past precedent shows that an investigation into this is wholly within the FBI's wheelhouse, as Senator Orrin Hatch said back in 1991.

One side wants the person identified as a witness to testify under oath...the other side wants to pretend that person doesn't even exist.
