In a nation of 300 million, there probably people who would do just about anything. So, on that level, it's a logical point.

But you really need more than "in a nation of 300 million" this could happen. I know you think your 4 witness thing is enough, but is it really such a mystery why any individual would want to sit this out? What about the other accusations?

tangible issues are not emotions.
If that was all Trump was doing was bigmouthing -then ya. but he's made all those part of his agenda- not just campaign rhetoric and all are being addressed,and not simply by "emotions"

He appeals to fear & hate, and exaggerates everything he says to do so. I'm kind of surprised that you find today's reluctant testimony "abhorrent," but you have no problem w/ Trump - on a daily basis - playing to racism, xenophobia, misogyny, and Islamophobia, and constantly pitting groups against one another with divisive and inflammatory rhetoric.

What is abhorrent about allowing an accuser to testify to the Senate how she came to remember this smear? You don't find the smearing a man of upstanding character abhorrent? Why?
