Fort Hood Tragedy -- Barack Obama Gives Odd "Shout-Out" Before He Comments on Massacr

He was actually at the Department of Interior for the Tribal Nations Conference. He wasn't there to "talk about a fucking massacre," as you put it. He was there to attend the goddamned conference.

Obviously, he commented on the massacre because it would have been fucking odd for him not to but to pretend that it was "unbecoming of the President" to give a "shout out" to Dr. Joe Medicine Crow, an attendee at the conference that received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, is ridiculous. Get a fucking grip.

Jackasses.

:good4u:

I'm not trying to get into this argument (even though I guess I obviously am) but if Bush was one of the worst, if the not the worst, President why always compare Obama to him? If there is a complaint about Obama how does it benefit him to say 'Bush did it too'?

The comparison is to show the double standard of those people who are now criticizing Obama but made excuses for bush when similar situations occurred in both administrations.

that is all ya got, a Micheal Moore crockumentary and the Bush did it too..

Nah, I gave you the short version but if you insist, here's another, non-Michael Moore clip:

Fair enough. But could that double standard work both ways? You supported Dungheap's comment of being against criticizing Obama for his actions here but yet criticize Bush for how he responsed post hearing news of 9/11?

The one you gave the double thumbs up too.

NigelTufnel is Dungheap? I didn't know that.

In any case, my point is that Obama did acknowledge the shootings, and I think it's hypocritical of some RW's to criticize him not on what he said but on when he said it.

How do you think he should have handled it?

Oh yeah, sorry I thought you knew. I think he went from Dungheap to TurdFerguson to Nigel the other day. I called him Dungheap out of habit.

Do I think Obama handled it well (the press conference?). Not really. Did I give it much more than a second's thought? No.

Now I could be wrong on the facts but my understanding was he told the networks he was going to give a talk on the shootings at such and such a time and it was during that time he made his other comments not related to the shootings. Ideally with the camera's on him I'd like to have seen him speak only about the shootings as he is good with communicating and connecting with people on an issue like this.

I of all people love jokes and making jokes so I have no problem with him giving someone a shout out, in fact I like that about him. But doing it right before having to speak about the shootings knowing you are on TV to talk about the shootings doesn't seem like the optimal time to me.

Am I losing sleep over this? No.

You know, I went Rogue, but Bama really did a black thing by giving a shout out, isn't that what those godless rappers do all the time? Todd and I like the laid back style of Matt Hammer or Trapper Mike, but he doesn't sing to well, anymore, he is dead now.

?

Even though I'm partisan I'd like to think I can still laugh at most things but that's not very good trolling.

Godless rappers? What athiest rappers do you know?

Do you listen to their music, all the sex drugs and violence, reminds me of my own friends and family back in Alaska, they may not be atheist, but they are the right hand of the devil.

how is it hypocritical?

so you believe the shoutout was a good thing?

The Hugo Obama has got to be one of the coldest, uncaring people I have ever seen..

his address to the people today about the massacre at Fort Hood, was to lecture us on DIVERISITY..
http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press...obama-extends-condolences-fort-hood-community

maybe he'll now invite us all to the white house for a beer.

wasn't it his main man rahm who said don't let a good crisis go to waste or something like that? so obama uses this massacre to spread his political manure....i guess we should be surprised, but given his cabinent picks....
