So now Fox News personalities are mocking newly elected Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez because she's not wealthy enough to easily/quickly afford a Washington, DC apartment? Forget the FACT that she beat the odds AGAINST long time established Democrat & Republican incumbents ON THE ISSUES as a SOCIALIST-DEMOCRAT...it's any picayune thing the Fox folk can focus on to try and discredit the woman even before she starts her job. Sad, but not unprecedented.

I understand that conservatives totally suck at humor, but let me give you a tip.

Not having enough money for an apartment is really not that funny or entertaining.

In the realm of mockery, the creative mind could come up with a lot better stuff to mock somebody about.
 
She tweeted out that she can't afford an apartment in D.C. even though she's about to start a $174K/yr job. Can she not borrow money from a bank for two months for a down payment?

Wack, all the woman did was point out it's tough to get that apartment now! It's not like she's the first person to complain about high rent districts. And are you saying she's to go into hock in her first year on the job for the people she represents? Whatever the deal, she'll get there. C'mon man, you parallel to the same petty BS Fox Noise is peddling.

Having rented apartments in SF, LA and Boston I have empathy for those going through the experience. But I had to do it making under six figures so my heart doesn't bleed so much for someone making $174K.

She could always go back to her roots and get a part time bartending gig. Then she could get paid for being pretty and shaking her ignorant little ass. It's all that dumb bimbo is good for.

I had to borrow money from family and friends to get an apartment (between first and last month's rent and security deposit it's clearly not cheap). And if she's able to win a seat in the U.S. Congress she clearly knows some people.

You can get an advance from a bank. It may not be on the best terms but she has access to money.
