Fox will shell out over a billion dollars, Dominion defamation suit given green light

They have already proven that. There were a bunch of machines that got sent to a recycler because of an insurance claim. The recycler sold them on EBay There was a hacker convention that hacked Dominion machines. They have also proved Dominion machines were attached to the internet during the election.

Michael Lindell is that you?

Virtually nothing that people keep repeating when it comes to potential fraud or illegal behavior is true. None of it. It has all been explored at length, and none of it has held up to investigation or the courts.

People just keep repeating it. None of it is true. I welcome all of the scrutiny that everything is getting. The more that comes out, the more it's clear that the only reason anyone believes there was fraud is because a pathological liar said so.
Dominion has been trying to hide the truth by trying to make people afraid to report because of fear of being sued. I think this will end in a settlement. Dominion isn't going to make a bunch of money. When Dominion figures out what they will have to reveal in discovery they will seek a settlement.

How many things have to be proven wrong?

Remember election day? "More votes in one county than there were voters!" "There was one county where all of the votes were Democrat!" "Wheelbarrows full of votes being burned!"

Meanwhile, they just completed a study showing that there were something like 500 votes that were questionable in all 6 key states.

It's embarrassing.

Dominion doesn't have anything to hide. They are rightfully suing people for trying to destroy their reputation based on nothing but lies.

The intellectual property is exactly what is at issue so it will have to be discovered. I know more than a moron like you .

Not on your best day or my worst. You are completely incorrect doc. At issue is whether Fox News had evidence AT THE TIME THEY MADE THE CLAIM. You can’t make up something about a company’s intellectual property and then sue them to see it you fucking moron.

Yeah and that is the reason they won't let any information on how their machines work out even to people that actually own them. They examined them in Texas an rejected them because of all their security issues. Texas didn't buy them.

By continuing to perpetuate false claims, rumors and speculation, Trump supporters are undermining the republic. And not in a small way.

Trump lost the election. Parties usually move on, and adjust their positions to try to win the next one. (and please do not bring up Gore, who conceded well before inauguration day and did the right thing to heal the country after a hard-fought & close election).

By electing Joe Biden you have damaged the Republic. And Gore took it all the way to the Supreme Court before he conceded.

Fox News loses bid to dismiss Dominion's $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit

Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Fox News Network on Thursday lost an effort to dismiss a $1.6 billion lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems Inc, a voting machine company that says the television network defamed it by amplifying conspiracy theories about its technology.

In a written ruling, Delaware court judge Eric Davis said Dominion had sufficiently alleged it was defamed by Fox News' election coverage and the case should proceed toward trial.

hit Rupert where it hurts mo$t

What a breakdown on the Faux smut type garbage of lies, propaganda and bs network at war against Democracy, playing the weakest link of society as suckers and being nothing but a scurrilous and soiled conspiring tool of foreign and domestic enemies who fund the smut material of Faux to advance their rag tag war on Democracy, civilization and humanity.

Dominion is going to have to surrender to discovery this will get interesting

"Hope springs eternal within the human breast." Casey struck out too.

As for having to submit to discovery, Dominion knew that going in. Obviously, it didn't deter them.

Since this case will not involve a Constitutional issue, being a straight defamation case, the highest it can go on appeal is the state supreme court to be looked at under Delaware law. You're probably right that Dominion will never get a billion dollars or anything close. What Dominion might do is send Fox into bankruptcy and forever disgrace it in the public mind, if not yours, as a news network since the libel in this case is not any libel. It's libel in the service of overturning a Presidential election.

This is a good swift kick in the ass for Fox.

It definitely will.

As usual, Trump leaves nothing but carnage, broken careers and ruined reputations behind him. All he had to do was mention Dominion, and he had a whole group of minions who immediately slandered them, with no proof whatsoever.

You can't do that in America.

you can't ask questions in your America?.......

That's it? That's the retort?

Every credible commentator, pundit & anchor has bailed on Fox. Intelligent people, who are disgusted by the network's detour into conspiracy and fringe partisanship.

Fox used to be a good balance to the more liberal networks. Now, they're a punchline.

lol.....Wallace left......big deal.......

I'm not sure Dominion will settle without an admission that Fox gave false information to its viewers. It will be interesting.

and how are they going to prove it is false information?......as I recall it was the demmycrats who first said voting machines could be hacked.....
