I played Pee Wee Football as a kid. I bounced around from wide receiver to place kicker for my team.
I was not that talented! My team was not that talented. We lost a few, and because of me missing my field goal attempt.
If I came home complaining about a bad call or making excuses in any way, my Dad would tell me, "You can't win them all, so you better start getting used to it"!
He said, "You have to take your losses like a man- and not to be a sore loser". He said, "Sore losers- never learn how to win- they just keep making the same mistakes that prevent them from winning"! He said,"The best thing you can do now, is put that game behind you and start thinking about the next game coming up, and how you intend to play better next time".
I've applied my dad's philosophy to every challenge and adversity I've ever had throughout my life.
Thanks Dad!
