Fundamentalism

The Left is far better at this historically and we can see the repeated results in wrecked economies, wrecked societies, and the social disasters they have created then walked away from.

What sort of alternate U.S. history did you read? Wrecked economies and social disasters have always been followed by liberals cleaning up after conservatives. FDR, Clinton, Obama, Biden -- ALL have followed a president whose laissez faire and/or incompetent policies wrecked the economy, and the four presidents I listed successfully dragged us out of those wrecked economies. In Clinton's case, he had to clean up after failed trickle-down bullshit from Reagan AND Bush.

Gardner has an MA from Trump University. "If Trump did not say it, it is not true."

Fundamentalism is the philosophy of the powerless, the conquered, the displaced and the dispossessed. Its spawning ground is the wreckage of political and military defeat, as Hebrew fundamentalism rose during the Babylonian captivity, as white Christian fundamentalism appeared in the American South during Reconstruction, as the notion of the Master race evolved in Germany following World War I. In such desperate times, the vanquished race would perish without a doctrine that restored hope and pride. Islamic fundamentalism ascends from the same landscape of despair and possesses the same tremendous and patient appeal. - Steven Pressfield

Can you see the difference between the Biden supporter and the Trump Supporter.

One believes we live in a fallen world, the other a hopeful world not yet to see its peak.

I do not know much about Jewish fundamentalism.

Hindu and Islamic fundamentalism are bound up in a reaction to neocolonialism and a latent rejection of the western liberal enlightenment project.

I think you are correct that economics generally comes into play.

The elemental, unifying quality of all fundamentalist movements is a profound alienation from secular liberal values, and a rejection of the liberal assertion that rational individuals are capable of autonomy and self-government in the absence of any divine influence.

I could never believe in your God. Too petty and indifferent to life.

Maybe indifferent, but not petty.

But, if you think about it, allowing people to die does not suggest you are indifferent to people. Death may not be a bad thing, maybe it turns out to be a blessing. Maybe its a gateway to a richer life, maybe death is a gift.

You want it? You got it.

No you didnt learn about religious fundamentalism in Sunday School when you were 9. It wasn't taught to 9 yearr olds in Sunday school.
Further you have no understanding of fundamentalism as proven by your replies in this thread.

You Sir are a liar and you are ignorant in addition to be plain rude.

I resent that one such as yourself claims to speak for BidenPresident. That makes you arrogant as well.

Fuck yourself very much.

because you try to stick your silly beliefs into secular law.

never happened.....though I do recall that you turned your belief that it's okay to kill unborn children into law.........and to turn your belief that men can marry men into law......is that the sort of thing you are referring to......
