Well, he did, but that propaganda piece is utter horseshit.

How do they know that? It was a closed hearing.

Or maybe it was shock and awe so when who Trump really wants is named, they sail through like a greased pig.
I'll tell you this: Whoever it is, Matt Gaetz will have a say in it.
Trump isn't just 1 dude, it's a team. A team of a lot of people.
And none are Swampy RINO Senators, AFAIK.
Rubio is serious business. They understand they have to get this thing right, and make it lasting, as the people before us did.
We got a shot at it, let's do things the right way. For The People.

This is a complete debacle. Gaetz was more than not confirmed. He was eviscerated, and the great Trump victory just came down a peg.
In the very unlikely event this was planned, you can bet they are wishing they hadn't.

Well there's a definite RINO list for 2026 now, I'll tell you that, cupcake.
Thune and Corwyn are 2 of them. Graham is a 3rd.
It could be the entire exercise was designed to do just that. Gauge the Senate. :dunno:

I have no clue one way or the other but I heard it speculated. It was hard to envision Gaetz ever being confirmed thus the idea that he was used as some sacrificial lamb isn't out of the realm. Again, I know nothing but I do know we as 'spectators' often just react while those on the inside plan far ahead.

Gaetz is/was an awful candidate thus why I could buy something bigger at play.
