For @AProudLefty "truth" is that which serves the interests of the party.

So despite the fact that 80% of what he posts is deliberately false and intended to deceive - he doesn't see it as lying. He is telling the "truth" as the falsehoods he posts are to promote absolute power for the party.

WE call it lying because well, we are sane.

A sin is something that offends a god. Frankly, any god who is offended by something a human does is not worthy of the designator "god."

I am delighted you are saying that you do not hate people though. There's too much of that crap going on right now.

I was using sin metaphorically. I hate the things Democrats stand for but a lot of them would make OK neighbors.

Yeah politics is off the table when you have guests. We have a very liberal friend that lives in Colorado she comes to visit for a week every year. My wife, who is more conservative than me, and I don't talk about politics while she is here. I did program the TV in her room not to pick up CNN and MSNBC though :laugh:

Just about every one of my close friends is a conservative...and many are MAGA conservatives.

We do not talk politics at all...and everything works out fine. I realize they detest most of the philosophy of the left...and they realize that I feel that same way about most of the philosophy of the right.

We all gotta get along as best we can.
