Gaza Strip follies;

WTF are you talking about? I never mentioned "building a boat" or anything about drilling wells. I think you have me confused with some other poster... as if that'd be unusual...

Oh grow up! I made a mistake by applying Port Tack's idiocy to you when you picked up the mantle for him. I STAND CORRECTED. There see, that's not so hard. You should try it sometime.

Now, what about Egypt are you implying or alluding to?"

I've stated repeatedly that Egypt keeps their border with Gaza closed same as Israel and pointed out that only Israel gets blamed for blockading Gaza.

That's because Egypt does not want an influx of hundreds of thousands of refugees. Also, there's probably the usual ethno-religious differences at play. But again, the Egyptians ARE NOT occupying land that was originally inhabited by Palestinians, Jews, Arabs, and they are not trying to slowly genocide or expel those people from Gaza or the West Bank.

It's because Egypt doesn't want in influx of hundreds of thousands of potential terrorists. Jordan learned the hard way about that when Palestinians in their country staged a coup to take it over.

Egypt occupied Gaza for almost 20 years. It was a bad experience for both sides. Egypt wants no part of Gaza's problems, and Gaza wants no part of Egypt.

They are 2.4 million people that no one wants, but keep causing everyone trouble. Netanyahu hoped that Israel could just isolate and ignore Gaza. He did not surround it with enough forces to really contain Hamas, and it came back to haunt him.

It is only a few miles wide, so easy to invade... But nearly impossible to occupy. There really is no good solution here.

Oh stop braying like some zionist asshole. Where can you prove that the Egyptians consider the Palestinians "terrorist"? Jordan was (again) the idiocy of ethno-religious differences that essentially comes to conflict in a monarchial society. You have NO proof outside of speculation, supposition and conjecture regarding Egypt.

Aren't Palestinians trying to genocide?

Hamas is with regards to a zionist gov't that claims to be the mindset of all Israeli's, as Hamas claims to be the mindset of all Palestinians.

Interesting that Rabin was assassinated by a rabid zionist Israeli because Rabin pushed for a 2 state solution.

Correction: Netanyahu and the Likund want that land and the Palestinians gone. Always have. We're talking about the 4th largest army in the world, armed to the teeth with state of the art weaponry and surveillance, an intelligence agency that rivals the CIA and bi-annual $2 billion or more "aid" from America. Israeli's are pissed at Netanyahu, who was already on the hot seat for his graft and corruption.

Hamas was also the Palestinian chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood, a radical organization in Egypt, which President Hosni Mubarak considered a danger to his rule—and so he viewed Hamas as a danger as well.
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2023/10/why-is-egypt-gaza-border-closed.html

Egypt says a mass exodus from Gaza would bring Hamas or other Palestinian militants onto its soil. That might be destabilizing in Sinai, where Egypt's military fought for years against Islamic militants and at one point accused Hamas of backing them.

Egypt has backed Israel’s blockade of Gaza since Hamas took over in the territory in 2007, tightly controlling the entry of materials and the passage of civilians back and forth. It also destroyed the network of tunnels under the border that Hamas and other Palestinians used to smuggle goods into Gaza.

With the Sinai insurgency largely put down, “Cairo does not want to have a new security problem on its hands in this problematic region,” Fabiani said.

If it were 2.4k people, you could just deport them. 2.4 million cannot be moved. Netanyahu realized that, but he also realized that it was a comparatively small amount of land. He was willing to give up that land, and keep the rest. He is trying to extend Israeli settlements in the West Bank... But Gaza he was happy to ignore.

Egypt would be willing to occupy the Gaza Strip, if it were more land, or less people. It is just too many people, on too little land. There is no way to profit from it, but so much loss of blood and money in occupying that tiny area.

Back to Netanyahu. This is hammering home something that Americans often forget about Israeli society, that the IDF is far more left wing than right wing. Netanyahu's supporters are far more likely to avoid national service. Netanyahu does not feel comfortable about taking advice from the IDF.

There is absolutely no one in the world who wants to take 2.4 million Gazans, or even occupy Gaza and try to control it. If you disagree, we can move them to where ever you live, or send the military of where ever you live there to occupy them.

Netanyahu counted on Hamas to take care of Gaza, well that backfired. There is no obvious solution.

I agree, but it is a problem that the Palestinians created, not Israel, Egypt, or whoever... If it wasn't, as I've pointed out, Gaza would be another Monaco or the like by now.

The Gazans reaction to their problem has just made things worse, but there has never been a good solution. Basically, 25% of the population of Palestine fled onto less than 1% of the worst land. They have not been allowed to trade with the outside world for 75 years. Their reaction has been to destroy everything they can.

It is sad, because there is no obvious solution. If we work for the next 40 years on it, maybe it will start to turn around... But then take a really long time to get better... And that is just a maybe.

Before you segway to another aspect, I would like you to admit in no uncertain terms that you were wrong about "building a boat". And no, they can't "dig their own wells" as the water system set up doesn't lend to that in that region to supply that large a population (as Israel doesn't rely on "digging wells"). And what is this need for your revisionist clap trap? If you hem in a population to one section of a region, build a wall, etc. you sure as hell are occupying something. As for the settlements: https://interactive.aljazeera.com/aje/2017/50-years-illegal-settlements/index.html

Once you concede your error, we can move on. If not, that just shows your intellectual dishonesty in a discussion.

Tough shit if they can't generate their own water supply. That is no fucking reason your neighbor has to give it to you. No you are not occupying another country by not letting them in yours, that is asinine. How come the Palistinians don't attack Egypt? They aren't allowed in there either. If gaza does not have the carrying capacity for all the Palistinians living there it ain't Israels responsibility to furnish it.

Sentence by sentence response:

1. Translation: Port Tack was wrong, but doesn't have the intellectual maturity/honesty to admit it.

2. Port Tack inadvertently makes my case: you force people off their homelands WERE THEY HAD EASY ACCESS TO WATER, put them in area that is walled off, and YOU CONTROL THE WATER IN THAT REGION as it is NOT NATURALLY FREELY ACCESSIBLE. That makes Israel the bad guys here, and knee jerk pro-zionist like Port Tack willfully/genuinely ignorant parrots.

3. Port Tack again displays the revisionist mindset of a pro-zionist flunky. NETANYAHU'S ISRAEL DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE PALESTINIAN STATE, that is why they have created the apartheid situation in the region. Further more, as history shows, prior to the declaration of Israel as an independent country, you had jews, palestinians, christians moslems and arabs living in that region for generations. Matters of history, matters of fact.

4. Answer. The Egyptians didn't drive the Palestinians off their land and corral them into a ghetto.

5. Egypt cannot absorb the entire Palestinian population....period. Not logistically, and not culturally/religiously without major problems. Hell, America bitches about "illegals" while selectively admitting foreigners to set up shop here under the guise of "visa's" and the like. Also, anyone who comes from Cuba gets automatic admittance, processing and eventual citizenship. However, folk fleeing the Duvalier regime from Haiti didn't fare the same.

6. See #1 - 4. Any rational, objective adult who is more up on the history of the region discuss will easily see the major flaws in Port Tack's blathering.

Since Port Tack is unwilling or incapable of acknowledging or conceding his error, there is no point in trying to have further discussion with him. I leave him to the last predictable retorts.

And yet watch how civilization collapses around you, on your watch.

These fucks are so ignorant that they very well may be going away.

It is all rather entertaining of course.

Bull-fucking-shit! Here's a short list of Jewish organizations against zionism:

- American Council for Judaism in the United States
- Anarchists Against the Wall in Israel
- Edah HaChareidis in Israel
- Jerusalem Faction in Israel
- International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network based in the United States
- Jewish Voice for Peace in the United States[1]
- Malachim in the United States
- Mishkenos HoRoim in Israel
- Satmar in the United States
- Neturei Karta in Israel, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States
- Sikrikim in Israel

Then there's this little tidbit:

And you should tune in (if possible) this show, which is more objective than most people like:
