Gen X'ers (like me) FCUKED

yeah. We're all making MILLIONS MORE. That's the standard that can be applied to just about everyone who's a generation x'er. Toppy - our resident wanna be economist.

lol true dat... notice how chappy dawg was cryin river in the thread before this... and we all know chappy's a millionaire... after reading this thread saying that we're making MILLIONS is hillarious and would make me think twice about listening to any financial adivice he would give.

Although, just having one, realizing how bad of an idea it is and stopping should maybe earn you a deduction of 15.

I'll send your case to comittee

Actually the one was per a plan by my first wife. not by my plan....

she intentionally stopped taking contraceptives and did not tell me...

I am just a victim WAAH!!! WAAH!

SS aint going anywhere you whiners

P.S. % graduating college is higher now than early boomers.

here's a lesson for you toppy... higher % of college graduates = more college graduates= more competition= which drives down wages....

Maybe he meant we're PAYING millions in interest because our homes cost so much. I can see how toppy would get that confused.

hmmmm, well....there you go.......I think you're around 60.
LOL. I'm 36. The kids help you to stay younger, I get to watch Spongebob without having to come up with excuses and am hip to all the Disney Princesses and how to tell which is which.

From what I read we (someone) is going to lose about 1 trillion as that seems to be the tally of junk loans the finiancial companies have out there.
Of course some will make money off of others misery, that is where topper comes in...

Robx'r loffer

Rob has no clue, the deduction does not cover the costs of raising a child.
Not even close.

then there is the marriage penalty....

I hope rob gets to marry ....

oh! And I'm tired of people saying that too. You don't get it back. I get a deduction!
A deduction is not a credit. In every case you pay more than you "get back", people who are fooled into thinking that they should carry a mortgage because they "get it back" can't do simple math and are fooled into paying good money after bad. Pay off your mortgage.
