I'm not so sure JPP uses the ignore funtion thoroughly or properly. I am a member of other forums, and the IGNORE option totally blocks the one you ignore from seeing your comments or threads and also blocks you from you seeing theirs- IN THOSE OTHER FORUMS. I do not believe that is how it is used here. I think it makes no sense to block yourself from being able to comment on someone else comments, when they are still free to comment about yours. That is more of a disadvantage rather than an advantage.
Feel free to depart for these "other forums".
Feel free to mind your own business!
When you posted in my thread your foolishness became my business.
Don't like the way JPP works? Tough shit.
I was not being foolish- I was just being practical and pragmatic!
Yes, I reply to any and all posters who claim to have me on ignore. This is a public forum, and if I see a comment of theirs that I wish to respond to, I will respond to it accordingly. So morons on ignore won't waste time and forum resources replying to those ignoring them.
If the ignored morons continue to reply to those ignoring them, well that's why we call them FUCKING MORONS.
Do you reply to posters who have you on IGNORE?
Bingo. They're unwilling to carry on a conversation with the person....and unable to just scroll on by...and really ignore them....
Yes, I respond to any and all people who claim to have me on ignore. So long as they continue to make posts on a PUBLIC forum, I will be responding to any and all of their posts that I wish to respond to, as my response is seen by the PUBLIC.So morons on ignore won't waste time and forum resources replying to those ignoring them.

I don't claim to have any posters "on ignore". The question is why do people who do feel compelled to announce it.
Lovely. Thank you for removing yourself (and your stupidity) from the discussion. The rest of us will continue to participate in intellectual discourse.Today, 07:51 AM

Well, now as you can easily see from my image above, you DO exist on somebody's IGNORE list. And you can also see you were wrong about who I'm ignoring. You're pretty good at being wrong. You're wrong so much, you'd think you'd get tired of being wrong.
Congratulations, mutherfukker.
For attention? To delude themselves that someone cares? Maybe for the same reason some people post useless crap on Facebook that no one gives a rat's ass about. Many times, they do it in threads started by the people they claim to be ignoring.
In quite a few instances, these folks are responding to a post by someone they'd previously announced they were ignoring.
Often, some of these individuals announce that they are putting someone "on ignore" even though they've already claimed to have done so, as if it's "news".
In a lot of cases, someone has proclaimed that they have taken someone "off ignore" and are now putting them back "on ignore"
Discuss.
Bingo.
If I wish to ignore someone or someone's post, I do just that.
No ignore feature necessary, and no proclaiming of my ignoring of them or their posts is necessary either.
Obviously Flaming Homosexual is illiterate in basic English. Many liberals seem to be.

Obviously, it gets under your skin to the point that you started a thread about it.
