When Washington's father Augustine died in 1743, George Washington became a slave owner at the age of eleven. In his will, Augustine left his son the 280 acre family farm near Fredericksburg, Virginia. In addition, Washington was willed ten slaves.

So what is the point in bring it up?

Well because Blacks would like to remove his statue, pictures, and change the dollar bill. Not that I really care.

Removing any historical artifact is nothing less than what the NAZI's did in the 1930s with their book burning. Why does the left want to remove all historical references to the industry of slave trading? When the real history of this industry is examined in an objective and truthful manner it proves that the democrat party was the party that supported the industry of slavery throughout the history of the United States of America.

Not one historical example can be found of a modern Republican party representative, owning or advocating the industry of human slavery. The democrat party brought us things like Jim Crow (Woodrow Wilson actually supported Jim Crow laws at the federal level)……..the KKK (in fact there was a democrat senator that served as a State Leader for the Clan at one time.....who served in the democrat party until his death in 2010...…….Robert KKK Byrd)……..the democrat party fought against voting rights for women and blacks...…..voted against the civil rights acts of the 50s and 60s...….

There is YOUR TRUTH as to why the left wants to BURN BOOKS.....(destroy historical artifacts).

Its a most difficult thing to deflect THE SINS of YOUR FATHERS on to republicans when real evidence still stands erect in plain sight. Removing these artifacts is just part of the BIG LIE propagated by the left...….that they are the defenders of liberty and freedom.

You want to see democrat government in action? Simply look at where the rioting and deaths due to criminal protesting is taking place...…..all of these hot spots and the supposed reasons for the protests have taken place in area where the democrats control all aspects of local and state governments. One question? Why remove a statue of General Lee in Va...…...when a statue as large as life still stands 46ft. erect of one of the greatest proponents of SLAVERY in US history still exists in the state of Ill.? Simply look at the history of Stephen Douglas of Illinois...with his statue standing proudly on the shores of Lake Michigan. Douglas debated Mr. Lincoln and held the position that Blacks were "inferior" to whites.

Its not a question of removing the symbols of hate...….OR....the statue of Douglas would have been one of the 1st to be torn to the ground. Its a question of attempting to re-write History Actual and project the evilness of the democrat party onto the party that actually brought equal rights to women and minorities to this nation.....the Republican Party.
