I would never advocate the killing of another human being. I accept the factual basis of the jury's verdict that aquited him. I'll take the higher road.

Having said that, I do take some small measure of satisfaction that this inept coward has become a social pariah.

The prosecutors deserve a lot of criticism for over charging him with a very weak case. A lesser charge could have won a felon conviction. Put his ass away for a long time and left him open to civil charges.

I never claimed they were. I have only stated that based on the available evidence that reasonable doubt existed that Mr. Zimmerman committed murder.

Having said that I think he was an inept punk clown and that it's nothing short of a miracle that the stupid ass didn't shoot himself. I feel pretty confident that had there been reliable witnesses to the confrontation that Mr. Zimmerman would now be behind bars...though I obviously can't know that for a fact.

Sorry but there is doubt as to who attacked whom and who initiated that attack. Had the tables been turned and Trayvon had curb stomped Zimmy to death and Trayvon had been charged with murder and the only reliable witnesses had been Trayvon and a dead Zimmy (as was the case with Zimmy), Trayvon would have been found not guilty by reasonable doubt and/or self defense.

Zim admitted to the police before the murder that he was following Travon. He made no effort to escape if he truly feared for his life. He could have stayed in his car and waited for the police to do their job. He could have simply not been a racist piece of shit. No matter how you spin it an innocent child is dead and his killer is walking free, and as Darla pointed out, what goes around comes around.
Zim will never be an old man.

Thats why I 'm pissed at the prosecution charging Zimmy for murder on such weak evidence. He could be sitting in prison for a long time and facing civil prosecution and a felon conviction hanging on his head for the rest of his miserable life had they charged him with a lessor crime in which the evidence was adequate for a conviction.

Funny.....I believed the verdict in both cases were correct. Reasonable doubt existed. There is also a significant difference between the OJ case. We know for a fact that Mr. Zimmerman killed Mr. Martin. Where as the facts of the case in the OJ case indicate strongly of either gross incompetence by investigators or an attempt to frame a defendant or both. Due to that, we don't know, for a fact, if OJ killed anyone.

Didn't OJ lose the civil case though? Not sure how that works but was the same evidence used or is it a completely different process?

I didn't. You have not read my posts carefully. I agreed with the Zimmerman verdict that reasonable doubt existed as to his being guilty of murder.

I still think he's a clown and that the prosecution over reacted to public pressure and over charged him. They should of charged him with something more reasonable...like being criminally stupid.

Using the Scottish standard I would have voted not guilty and hope that would have left him open to civil charges. However since the judge in the Zimmerman case instructed the jury to include an SYG defense under Florida law he is immune from civil prosecution.

He lost the civil case but it's a different standard of proof. In a criminal case the standard is reasonable doubt. In a civil case it's the preponderance of evidence which is a lower standard of proof than reasonable doubt.
