Georgia presents new problems for Trump

”How a Georgia Trump indictment would differ from the federal Jan. 6 case”

“Broader Case - The Justice Department’s indictment of Trump was narrowly focused on the former president, casting him as the ringleader of a far-reaching plot across federal and state governments. Willis has sent target letters to at least 17 individuals. And while federal prosecutors brought charges on four counts in its Jan. 6 case, Georgia law includes several statutes that could be used for charging numerous defendants.“

”Charges will differ - With charges expected to cover a greater number of defendants, the case is also likely to tap a wider number of statues than Trump’s federal case. Experts say Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) law could be an asset in bringing a case against Trump and several co-conspirators.”

“Transparency/B] - Federal courts by and large prohibit the photographing and broadcasting of judicial proceedings. The court in Fulton County is comfortable with televising proceedings. In fact, Judge Robert C.I. McBurney of the Fulton County, who has overseen matters tied to Georgia’s Trump investigation so far, has a YouTube channel where he televises his court’s proceedings.”

“No quick, easy out - In the two federal cases where Trump faces criminal charges, Trump might use a future presidential reelection to evade potential consequences. With Georgia, Trump can’t pardon himself, nor can he direct Fani Willis to dismiss charges”

Co conspirators, Rico law, televised on You Tube, and no pardons, hurdles Trump and his army of lawyers have to face

All problems for them but imagine a trial televised live, no Turley or McCarthy framing facts, full public disclosure, OJ’s trial on steroids, and if it comes in the middle of a campaign, Trump’s got problems

Georgia's Lt. Governor will pardon trump within hours of his conviction

Pardons in the State of Georgia are granted by Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles, not the Governor.

Yes, I found that out.

Georgia is one of three states where the governor doesn't have the power to pardon.

However, the board members are appointed by the governor.

He would certainly appeal, and tie the case up for years in the Courts, but you are missing a main point, his trial could be televised, live for America to see, no infotainment talking heads framing the facts, real drama, just like OJ’s, and no way Trump comes out of that untouched

If the trial is televised the fraud will come out in Trump's defense so go right ahead.

Really, then explain to us how each case was presented with evidence to a Grand Jury and was given the green light? You going to tell us four Grand Juries are in on your supposed fix?

Yes they are. The persecution is as obvious as your stupidity.

I told you 2.5 years ago that the so-called justice system would be used to take Trump out....he is not allowed to be our President....the Failed Elite Class will not be defied.

Can you hear me now?

A Georgia pardon can ONLY be granted AFTER the person serves the entire sentence and had been released at least 5 years, and lived a life free of crime.

Then and only then, can they be considered for a Pardon.

So if Trump was to get one then... fine.

You say something like that you have to prove it. Get started moron.

I knew it wasn't the governor. I thought I heard that it was the Lt. Gov, but it isn't. Commutation can occur if the conviction is considered to be unconstitutional, which I'm sure trump's team will argue.

The great news is that pardons in Ga. seem to only happen after the term is served.

You have been rooting for America to blow up for years. Trump is a repulsive person who does not care about the law or America,. Apparently, you do not either.
We have always bitched about a 2 tier justice system. If Trump pays for his crimes, he will have FINALLY done some good for the country.

Yes I know, I looked it up.
