Georgia presents new problems for Trump

You think it is funny that they are trying to jail a man elected twice to the highest office? I think it is obvious desperation.

‘Detailed But Irrefutable’: Trump To Present Report On 2020 Election Fraud In Georgia Next Week

Mr. Trump wrote that “[a] Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey.” He further wrote that “Based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others – There will be a complete EXONERATION! They never went after those that Rigged the Election. They only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS!”

Think the MSM will report on this? They hopefully will have no choice.

You are nuts.

A slight disagreement, but it might get worse before it gets better. The problem, IMO, is that the Republican leadership is weak and cowardly while the majority of the Republican membership is angry, poorly educated and distrusts government.

”How a Georgia Trump indictment would differ from the federal Jan. 6 case”

“Broader Case - The Justice Department’s indictment of Trump was narrowly focused on the former president, casting him as the ringleader of a far-reaching plot across federal and state governments. Willis has sent target letters to at least 17 individuals. And while federal prosecutors brought charges on four counts in its Jan. 6 case, Georgia law includes several statutes that could be used for charging numerous defendants.“

”Charges will differ - With charges expected to cover a greater number of defendants, the case is also likely to tap a wider number of statues than Trump’s federal case. Experts say Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) law could be an asset in bringing a case against Trump and several co-conspirators.”

“Transparency/B] - Federal courts by and large prohibit the photographing and broadcasting of judicial proceedings. The court in Fulton County is comfortable with televising proceedings. In fact, Judge Robert C.I. McBurney of the Fulton County, who has overseen matters tied to Georgia’s Trump investigation so far, has a YouTube channel where he televises his court’s proceedings.”

“No quick, easy out - In the two federal cases where Trump faces criminal charges, Trump might use a future presidential reelection to evade potential consequences. With Georgia, Trump can’t pardon himself, nor can he direct Fani Willis to dismiss charges”

Co conspirators, Rico law, televised on You Tube, and no pardons, hurdles Trump and his army of lawyers have to face

All problems for them but imagine a trial televised live, no Turley or McCarthy framing facts, full public disclosure, OJ’s trial on steroids, and if it comes in the middle of a campaign, Trump’s got problems

Until now the grand jury plodding along in Georgia seemed almost like an after thought among the election investigations. Suddenly it seems like it might have produced the main event.
