What do you suggest Israel do in a situation where they are attacked by Hamas and then Hamas fighters run back to Israel and use civilians/hostage as human shields?

If Hamas does an "October 7th" type attack, what should Israel do when Hamas fighters run back to Gaza and hide in schools, hospitals, etc among civilians?

The incorrect answer is that Israel should pick the closest Arabs to slaughter, even though those Arabs never attacked Israel.
