Glenn Beck is a craptastic partisan hack

HAHAHAHAHA, obviously you haven't seen him diss Bush and others. What a dork.

No, you haven't. Because he doesn't - not even close.

He's like O'Reilly in that way (although Beck makes O'Reilly look like one of the fairest, most moderate commentators on TV). He'll bash Obama & Democrats for weeks straight, but then pick the most extreme Republican, or egregious GOP action, and talk about it for 5 minutes on one show out of dozens, in an effort to appear more balanced somehow.

But otherwise, it's a non-stop Obama/Democrat bash-fest.

Adam, do you have a blog someplace? Your views always seem well-thought out and cut thru the bullshit (as much as can be cut thru in a political forum).

Thanks. You know, I always thought to myself that if I put as much time and dedication into writing a screenplay or a blog or a book as I do posting to messages to this board that I would be a much wealthier person. But at least it's good practice.

So, no, I didn't do any blogging until just recently. Now it's part of my job and sometimes I contribute to CampusReform.org.

Here's something I put up yesterday:

You said he disses Dems "as much as" Republicans, which is a farce.

Seriously, you'd have to be a chronic, incurable right-wing hack to think that. Michael Moore criticizes Dems at times, but I'd be an idiot to say he does so "as much" as he criticizes Republicans.

Both men are very ideological, and both make "token" efforts to appear more objective. Anyone who isn't a fool can easily see that....

Yeah, if you watch the entire show he's quoting some Israeli scholar who predicted it "could be" the day that Iran wiped Israel off the map based on Ahmwearingadinnerjacket's prediction that Iran would "shock" the world on August 22nd of that year. He plays it up, jokes about the second coming and finishes with a slice of "armageddon cake" (or something like that, it was cake though).

It was not a real prediction, however it was using fear for ratings. The guy plays the nut for ratings. He used to be here on the radio with a totally different sthick!

Yeah, he's an entertainer and unashamed about it. He promotes his show as a mesh of "entertainment and enlightenment" fully aware he pushes for ratings.

He is far from providing enlightenment, fear is quite the opposit.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

I'm not trying to throw you under the bus for having a minority point of view here, but what person running for office in the United States of America, who publicly speaks like you do and takes positions on issues as you do, has ever been elected?

I've heard people running for office say stuff like you're saying now. We both know where they are. They think they're undermining some great conspiracy with their insightful rhetoric, but all they're doing is scaring the crap out of most normal people.

If you don't want your people to be elected, then that's fine. Anything goes. But it's kind of hard to protect the Constitution when you're never administered an oath by anyone but yourself.

Most normal people need to be scared. Made aware of the banker fiat currency scam against the world.

Your appeals to expediency and pragmatism are flaccid.

Fine. Then don't expect to win and don't get involved in campaigns that are honestly trying to.

I can't think off hand of an American political campaign that was victorious because the candidate scared the voters about his or her own views.

Sorry. I'm setting expectations here.

And we disagree that fear is the reaction to truth. I think most americans feel relief at hearing the truth spoken aloud.

Only when they agree that the truth is being neglected. Conspiracy theories are not neglected truths to the vast majority of people.

To most, they are fringe falsehoods that adherents harp on for their own personal reasons.

If you want to scare people, make sure it's not more than 49.99% of the people who are voting, and also be sure the rest are voting for you.

Yes, most people know that and don't pay attention to him. From what I've read here and elsewhere on the net, his question appeared to me to be legit. If he had indeed received emails from people stating this about the lady then he needed to ask the question. Her response is what got her in trouble. How hard would a quick "No" be?

Whether she is running for city council, mayor, governor or the border, I would want to know that about her if there were rumors running around.

As to Beck's motive for asking the question....I suspect it is because he is a craptastic partisan hack....but that's just a guess.

You can't have watched Beck or O'Reilly on any consistent basis and make this comment with an iota of credibility.

You are categorically and positively W - R - O - N - G

While you have to be a mindless lemming who is fed facts rather than researching them on your own.

Please take an active role in your education and cease relying on Huffington, MSNBC, CNN, and the rest of looney liberal media outlets to get your pablum from.

Beck and O'Reilly do a fair share of bashing Republicans, but rather than take my word for it, why not enlighten us to how much research you have personally done to arrive at your biased and uninformed opinion on Beck and O'Reilly.

I would say that glancing at their shows more than twice a year would not be a good indicator, Onesie, so try and lie believably, k? :cof1:

I watch Beck & O'Reilly much more than liberal commentators. It's a weird proclivity I have; I can't really explain it.

As I said before, Beck makes O'Reilly look positively moderate. The mere idea that Beck does anything that would come anywhere near a "balanced" approach is ridiculous in the extreme. The guy is way, way out there on the right; even O'Reilly kind of acknowledged that in his recent session w/ Jon Stewart (he didn't say Beck's name, but you knew who he was talking about)...

You overestimate your control of the american mind.

Arrogance will be the undoing of the new world orderers.

Your analysis is way off on this on Adam. People know 9/11 was an inside job, and as much as you try to dismiss and marginalize people who question your cheney bush zionist black ops false flaggers, it resonates well with those bright enough to see through your fog of neocon disinformation.

You really need to seek professional help, from a psychiatrist; because you are truly insane.

Well then, since you are so much better informed concerning Beck and O'Reilly than Onceler is, why don't you tell us how much research YOU personally have done to arrive at YOUR conclusion?

Everyone awaits your well-researched response...
